Camo unlock pricing makes little to no sense to me.

75 MC for 1 mech

or 750 for a chassis. Thats 10 camos, for mechs were we see max 5 chassis, usually 3 or maybe 4. Hardly worth it, unlikely to paint all mechs with the same camo.

And no unlock for camos across ALL chassis/mechs.

I'd rather see something like

75-125MC for 1 camo for 1 mech.

250-400MC for a chassis unlock (about 100MC for 4 chassis)

and 1,000 - 2,000 MC to unlock the camo across ALL chassis all mechs.

bought the tiger paint unlock for the Catapults some time ago, bought my second mech and was surprised to see I couldn't paint it with the tiger paint - I added 2+2, and figured the paint unlocks only count for one chassis :) can't help but feel this was a really cheap move. If I had known I would have considered the single use a little more thoroughly

Even if it's 750 MC for one chassis, I'd like to see a universal option to prevent this from happening :(

A-a-and necrobump! I guess they can keep the current prices if they unlock the camo or paint or cockpit trinket in question for ALL mechs you ever own, without regard for chassis or class and so on, because I would much rather use MC to buy another mech than a trinket that has no gameplay value whatsoever, especially at that kind or price in REAL money.

yeah this is kind of scuzzy. Iand the colors are even worse...my custom cammo of choice would be 3750MC per chassis

lets see...3750 for Awsome catapult highlander Trebuchet and commando of and cicada =18750 or about $70 at the best rate...not now not ever. I would pay 15-20 to paint all my mechs or two or three for each

750 as a permanent unlock for one chassis line is fine. That's 10 repaints, yes? If you like Tiger for camo and the Standard pattern for unit colors, and you switch back and forth between them, then you'd be buying 75 MC Tiger patterns quite a bit. Better just to unlock the thing and be done with it.

Plus, if you wait for a sale then it works out even better.

Truthfully, as much as they may need money, this isn't the way. Reduced prices mean more sales; this is proven by statistics:ask Steam! When will they understand the MICRO in microtransactions...

Agreed. I won't buy camo unlocks at this price. An unlock across all chassis would be much more reasonable. Nickel and diming us for stuff we already "own" really makes you reconsider your "investment" in this game. If I have to buy a new favorite camo every time a new mech comes out...well that just gives me another reason to say maybe it's time to stop putting money into it.

New money should come from new content, i.e. new FOTM camos, that people actually like, not from some scheme to trick people into making a stupid purchase.

I can see making a premium camo a higher one-time application with no permanent unlocks, just to foster the rarity of that camo and thereby giving it more perceived value.

IMHO.
