... that we hear often, if we try to talk to the PGIs about issues. But on a BETA.... no one needs money to win. But here? Without money, you nearly (only nearly) , you can't win. So.... it can't be a BETA.... and the PGIs lie at us!

That brings us to one point: MWO is NOT at Beta - the PGI just lie on us.


They just run out of ideas and are surprised of how bad theire Ideas are.

It must be beta, thats what they told me. think that there is supposed to be some kinda rp com in down the pipe, but I'm unsure. i do know more content is incoming and they are working on it

It never used to happen BEFORE. Now it's happening all the time with all different sort of games, in particular F2P ones. At this point, a "beta" simply describes a product that does not yet fully match the criteria of the developers themselves.

So chill.

Lots of free players are winning just fine. Anyone can grind out a Splatcat or a 3L or a DDC or a PPC STK. If anyone can get the best ubermechs, no one needs money to win. NEXT!

The new BETA is the old launch.

Honestly, Ive said this time and time again, I dont see this game ever actually officially launching.
Not because itll crash and burn, but because they can already make money NOW, why go "launch" and be subject to things like negative reviews, bad press, and bad comparisons to WoT?

I don't win often just because I don't play enough to practice, though I do what I can and it is possible to be as good without spending a dime as it is if you spent tons of money, why? Cause big guns and shiny armor and features are only as good as the pilot. And it's a F2P game, it needs funding throughout development when no income is coming in or from a base budget. And if this IS the full game - it's pretty boring then if all you can do is just fight others in random matches. Just saying. If you don't like it, then leave and go hug your CoD games.
