I've hit mine unfortunately

1100 games since OB, and against all better judgement I've lost the will to log in.

I've driven pretty much all of the mechs, fired all of the weapons and played all of the maps.

I don't know what else there is to do now except more of the same.

I love the game because it is PVP in its most pure form, but I think what has killed it for me is endless repetition of the same old maps.

I had high hopes for Alpine, but that turned out to give the most boring battles ever.

You CB founder guys with 4000-5000 games under your belt, I take my hat off to you - Now that is staying power.

I will ofc check out the jagermech but can't see it offering much in the way of new experience.

Fingers crossed at some point in the future MWO will evolve some more depth and recapture my imagination... Until then

I've hit this point a couple of times now. Playing with friends helps, but at the end of the day there just isn't enough content yet. Probably the best thing you can do is take a break and then check back after a handful of patches.

Play more than one game. At least, that's what I do.

I know what you mean, it has gotten to be pretty repetitive. The team play is the only thing that keeps me coming back, and without the sync drops for external competitions, that is sort of on hold. The solo competitions PGI has run are just lame, every man for himself.

1089 matches since OB, probably a similar number in CB, I can understand you quite well. I only play a few matches every few days but do not see that as a bad thing. There is still an number of mechs I have not triee yet, even with founders bonus/premium time it takes a while to fund them.

Just keep the game installed and jump in when you feel like it. Have fun!

Take a break bud, come back when CW is online. You're playing an incomplete game. It OK (and probably a good idea) to walk a way for a while and do something else. Let a few patch cycles go by, let a few new features go by, and then check back in. I'm wiling to bet the game will seem "new(er)" to you at that point.

I know where you are coming from. As has been mentioned, play other games, take breaks of a week or so.

I hope that new maps are going to start coming thick and fast, as the small brawler maps are past their prime. I like the Alpine map for the variety of paths you can take, and the fact that scouting becomes premium. Not that I scout. Ever

Take a break. Get back in a month or two. You'll be surprised.

I was in CB since before the founder's program started. I've played tons of games. I've pugged for a vast majority of them. I've lost a lot, and died a lot. But I have no less desire to play than I did then. I have a few mechs elited and I'm working on some others. I own currently 9 mechs.

I don't have any real advice I just wanted to say that I love to play this game but I do understand fatigue. I don't suffer from it myself but I totally understand how people get it. Sometimes Streaks2s make me want to throw my computer out of the window because they are so ridiculous and Devs are happy with them it seems. But I do love this game.

I think Community Warfare will help toooons with this problem.

And like others said: Take a break. I love MWO but StarCraft2: Heart of the Swarm as my attention this week.

If you play that much, you'll burn out, simple as that. I did that on WoW and Starcraft, just too much of the same thing in too short a timeframe will make anything boring.

Take a break, comeback when we have some new toys to play with

Stop playing the game so often then. I take breaks between patches.

I've been in since 1st wave CB, the best advice I have to offer is to just take it easy. I have never had a session where I played more than 15-20 games in a row, and those are few and far between. Only play every couple of days, mix in your other hobbies, etc. etc. and when you do play, it feels fresh. And this is coming from someone who heads up a unit

I got 2864 games and I've basically stopped playing. I only keep an eye out for patches and test out the new content that comes. But trying out new stuff from a patch is like couple of days at most, especially when they are unintresting like the trebutchet or spider. Sometimes I may login to smash some people with the atlas for old times sake, but not much activity otherwise. I honestly think PGI is out of their mind if they think their content releasing schedule is good. They are not going to keep long term players for this game with so slow progress.

The Spider I agree with, but the Trebby is awesome! You can do so much with that chassis!

Seems like a weaker hunchback to me. The jumpjets aren't really doing much for it.

I keep my boredom in check by mastering chassis. I am at 1,143 / 1,115 wins / losses. I have 3 Stalkers mastered, 3 Hunchbacks, 3 Catapults, 3 Cataphracts, 3 Dragons, 1 Cicada.

I am working on Trebuchets atm and going back to finish up the other two Cicadas. I also have 2 lights in the Elite with 21,500 XP banked on each for master for when the Flea comes out.

This is kinda what keeps the game fresh for me. And I can go back and play the others whenever I want to mix it up some.

I don't know why there aren't more maps. What do they have? One intern working part time on them? The cryengine is suppose to have powerful map creation tools that comes with a commercial license.

I hit it long ago, but took a month off basically, and my interest has somewhat returned, more due to the excitement about what is coming, rather than the fun of gameplay. MWO has never reached near the passion I had for MW4:Mercs. Mercs I couldn't wait to get home and play, I've never felt that way about MWO, although it has been fun.
