Yeah, frankly, with the game in its current state with ECM being... ECM and weight matching not working, you are actually kinda stupid for taking anything else.


Here's an idea of how out of wack the D-DC is... Ilya is actually my favorite mech, and before weight matching was broken, by far my most capable one too... now...




Most importantly, look at Experience earned... I do well enough if Ilya, but its twin gauss, so it doesn't do extremely high damage. Obviously the game rewards brute force heavily right now.

My winningest is my AS7-RS with a W/L=2.00.
My deadliest is CDA-3M with a KDR=1.75.

By those that I have 20 or more matches with (less just isn't reliable):

Winningest: The deaths knell 1.71 W/L. WTF?!!! How can this be the mech I win most with?
Deadliest: Hunchback 4P 2.40 KDR. This, at least, was as expected.

Just started playing my Spider 5D with ECM again just to see how it fares in the stats. It is matching my winningest mechs at 1.75 w/l and my deadliest at 1.75 KDR over about 30 matches. This is not a surprise. The community hates Spiders and considers them worthless. The truth is the ECM spider is nearly untouchable if piloted correctly as long as it stays far away from Raven 3L's.

Also, I can see mech specific stats becoming a criteria for invitation into competitive groups. You are allowed to play only certain mechs within an 8 man group that you have demonstrated capable with stats for that mech.
