No, lots of games say they ban people. They don't list people nor tell anyone who reports who they ban, thus no one knows if they ban anyone. If you think an F2P with a small niche audience is actually banning players and potential customers based on what the company says absent any evidence, well ok. :)

Yeah, I do.

multiple times I have been a moderator or game manager for online communities. I've also worked for an internet service provider. The general policy for nearly everyone is to respond to the report that we would look into the issue and actually look into it. If the issue in question required a temporary or permanent ban, we did so. We never told the community what we found or even that that member was banned unless there was a specific need.

For example, there was a disruptive element in a game forum I was staff at. Said person outright cheated. We announced to the forum that it had come to light someone had cheated, we were altering scores to reflect that. We did not say who it was, but since someone was suddenly no longer part of the community people figured it out as it was a small community.

I was required to shut down a thousand dollar a month business account for breaking our ToS when I worked for an ISP. They were openly spamming people with other providers. His password was changed and he was no longer allowed an account with us. Did I inform the people who complained? No, I stated we had dealt with the issue of spam mail they were receiving. Did I shut down an account that gave us money as a small time provider? Yes because it was going to affect our other customers who didn't want to be associated with a company that allowed spammers.

Same thing for a F2P. In fact it is even MORE important to ban and ban early. You do not want people like that in your community.

And the best way to avoid being the subject of attention for team kills, would be to avoid doing the things that blatantly aggravate others.

So she was asking for it wearing a dress like that in that part of town? How about we teach people not to be jerks instead of implying the victim had it coming?

I also don't mind when people (carefully) test weapons at match-start, but for heaven's sake, don't put on a laserlight show while we're trying to find the enemy. :) (Althought there was one pretty "both-sides rave" the other night in FC)

LOL, okay. You can believe anything you like, I mean hell religions still exist today so folks will believe what they want. If you want to believe this happens, go right ahead and spend the time to send a report. More power to ya. Me I will continue to operate the way I always do in games like this, i.e. I take care of Tkers as I see fit. Haven't been banned in an F2P and while I'm no serial Tker, I TK or better make them TK me as I see fit.
Obviously they will check the logs and see if someone has an enormous amount of TKs and possibly ban them. Other folks, don't even get a warning.
I'm not telling anyone to not report or TK back. I'm just saying what get results and what just seems an empty service designed to delude folks into thinking PGI does anything and that you reporting means anything. You weight what you feel more likely to actually result in anything and make your own choice. I don't believe for 1 second they "investigate" these claims outside querying how many Tks the person reported and reporting (they check you too if you report) and decide from that alone. If you think they pull logs and chat records from these matches... seriously?
Which takes more work actual investigating or just telling people you're looking into it and doing nothing? From the evidence here, people are buying it so why should they change? Like I said you weigh the possibilities and decide what you think your reports are worth.

I am still holding out hope that you are just trolling Mercules, because at this point it's down to that or your brain not being fully functional.
