Just out of morbid curiosity ... has anyone (just for fun, not serious play) ever taken an all-LRM team?
Something like http://mwo.smurfy-ne...381453a0404d540
And just move around 300m away from their base (so they can cover it) and split off into 2 groups of 4 and stay around 300-400m apart so they can cover each other?
I'm just curious.

By 'LRM trolling', I thought you meant equipping ECM on a light or Cicada, and just standing behind an enemy LRM boat the entire time. There are great lulz to be had in doing so.

Back before LRMs got buffed to 1.8 damage, we used to do this every once in a while to prove how ridiculously overpowered LRMs are. So we would take our best light pilot in a Jenner, the rest in Atlas and Catapult mass LRM boats.
Now mind you this was back when LRMs only did 1.2 damage or so. But ever seen an Atlas melt in a few seconds at 800m? The whole match was simply that. Most of us shut the game off in disgust after these matches. And so when LRMs got buffed to 1.8 damage per missile, I think somebody actually puked.

What's the point? You really only need 1 or 2 LRM boats.
The real beauty of the video is how balanced and flawless the weapons and 8man drops are. Bravo PGI for excellent work.

What amuses me most about this video is that the LRM squad should have lost...their opponents gave up in the face of mechs that were out of ammo....I have this picture in my mind of a Commando with one arm chasing them all around the map with 2 medium lasers.

what I do to troll with LRMS is put a LRM15 in the narc port of my Raven 3L and run around firing off my AAMS

I've found 2 LRM boats, a Med escort and a light with TAG works alot better than all LRM boats.

And watch the Raven evaporate? I've been running an LRM Trebuchet counterpart to my friend's Founder Catapult. When we get swarmed by lights we are already at LRM distance from each other and we both had TAG. TAG raven, fire, Raven go away or is wounded enough it is easily finished off with lasers. Works pretty well if you have any teamwork.
