I am curious if others are seeing the same thing I am seeing regarding wins and losses

NOTE: I am not claiming to be an elite player. Don't read that into my statements. Thankyou.

Since the stats reset I have not been able to play as much as usual. I also have been pugging more. Probably >60% solo play. I would have expected in that situaiton to be close to 50% wins. But I am currently right around 2/3 win % (39-23)

I am still winning more than I anticipated. The games are more fun, that is for sure. They are closer almost all the time. But I really did think there would be more losses.

It is possible that I am on the high end of the scale, especially when I play with some of my unit-mates who are amazing at this game. It is also possible that the queue is matching us against lower Elo opponents due to queue size. I am honestly not sure.

My question is this:

What is your win %?
Do you team up a lot? Does it make a difference when you do?
Are your games closer/harder?

I'm 188-144 (1.305). Most of my matches are in a DRG-5N (1.37), although I also play a D-DC (1.78). I also gave the trial stalker a fair run, but I gave up after my KDR was 0.43 and my W/L was 1.00.

I only ever pug, and my games are probably normally distributed with a mean of "not a landslide, but decisive," in terms of closeness (going both directions). I generally feel that while I am not always the most skilled, I am always one of the most game aware (i.e. things like not fighting when there are 10 seconds to go on a cap victory instead of charging at the Atlasses to greedily get a kill in a 3L).

51.4% as pug only since Elo.

The vast majority of my matches were played during the last tournie and thus have been heavily skewed by myself and other players through driving mechs I wouldn't normally touch with a barge pole and, ofc, doing many matches without a 'full 8 man team.

If I include prior matches pre Elo then its 54.5%

I've been noticing more wins lately, too. I've only team-dropped a handful of times.

Overall W/L Stats: 352/388 (I win 47.5% of the time)
Since Mech Stats Started: 53/35 (I win 60.2% of the time)

So I guess that's an improvement. My newb curve was a LONG one. :)

I'm at 783 and 570 for a W/L of 58% running both PUG and group play. K/D typically between 1.25 and 1.30.

2.9 since Elo

Which is actually up from 2.6 overall.

While I do feel like I have more close matches, it still feels like Elo is not balancing us out. Theoretically, with Elo in place, I should be moving towards 1.0 (though my sample size since Elo is not large enough for this movement to be statistically significant)

I always drop in 4 mans, though, so that probably plays a part

Mine has ggone down from 2.13 to 1.69 since the switch (1.9 if you discount the 4 matches my gf's son played a draon 1-c trial mech)

I just expected it to go down more. I am not unhappy personally, I like to win. But my concern is that there are a lot of people losing 2/3 of the time still. That doesnt make for a fun game.

mostly 3-4 man groups, but I think its gone down a good bit since Elo was introduced as I'm seeing games be less of a PUG stomp they once were

It would be interesting to see this stat broken up between solo, 4 man and 8 man. Any plans for that?

you can compare them by looking at the main stat page vs the other stat page (easiest is the gamemmode stats page, 2 lines to add)

Wins / Losses
280 / 241

Kill / Death Ratio
1.64

W/L ratio would be
1.161

As I own about 20 'Mechs and drive nearly all of them on a regular basis, the games very much spread out between them. Stats from 10-20 games are not really representative i guess, so I'm not drawing any conclusions from the 'Mech stats atm.

Before ELO, my feeling was a lot more on the winner side, i would take a guess of approx. 1.8 - 2.1, but since ELO I am constantly dropping with very unbalanced teams, my team often being completely ripped apart in the first two minutes or so.

I lose about 5 games for every win.

edit: I lied, mainly because I usually hate threads like this. My actual stats are:

Total games played: 4476
Wins: 2912
Loss: 1564

So, right at 65% wins

The thing is, I play a lot of solo, with 1 other guy, 8 mans etc. so they numbers are going to be skewed high b/c of group play.

I kinda wish it would tell me my win % when its just me solo stomping.

Wins / Losses 2784 / 1435 = 65-66%
Mostly PUG.
Difficulty depends on what mech I'm driving, and does opposite have a good or bad day.
