8 man drops, I try to stick with a group but sometimes they are butterflies.

Just finished my 500th game since the new stats went in. Not including the pre-Elo stats I'm at:

262 wins / 236 losses.

Most of the losses have come up in the last week, prior to that I was about a 1.3 or so, now I'm down to about a 1.1 overall.

Overall (including pre Elo)

1,118 wins/1,059 losses.
Probably 95% of all of this is pugging.

With ELO it is currently 1.04

Prior to ELO
998 wins, 935 losses = 51%
Probably about 95% of those matches were going for a mechs master slot with me eventually just being a ********* and running my founders jenner for c-bills for the majority of the other matches.

After ELO.
175 wins, 131 losses = 57%
Outside of deciding to dust off my founders Atlas for the c-bill/grindfest weekend, majority of those matches were me finally working up my Cents.

So overall I am looking at
1173 wins, 1066 losses = 52%

Mostly PUGs tho, and still I don't play for stats - I play for the team, which means I die most of the matches just cause I felt that even the last shot will count instead running around and hiding behind rocks like a sissy just to keep some random virtual score up

Since ELO I've got 109 games played with 50 wins, 58 losses, so I guess 1 draw, don't remember that, must've crashed.

Almost exclusively PUG but play 2 or 3 games most nights in a 2 man without comms. Honestly find most games to be steamrolls either for or against. I wouldn't say I'm remotely skilled, epic noob but I'm having fun.

Oh and for the record, overall since I started I have 295 wins 393 losses, 224 kills, 287 deaths with a 0.78 kdr. Mostly pilot medium mechs, hunches and cents.

Oh and first post, yay... first time my noobified input may be of some assistance.

I'm just a tad below 1:1 win/loss ratio. I mostly pug but I do group sometimes. But even then, that grouping is not guaranteed to be good. Factor in all of the missiles and the massive bug that came with it versus my big ol' torsos in the Awesome (only mech that I've driven since ELO) and I feel like I'm doing alright. K/D ratio is also about a 1:1 and that's with just PPCs, Lrg Lasers, and SRMs.

K: 5830 D: 715= 8.15 kdr, started at about 7 when elo started.

Not sure why people hate river city night, I'm 6-1 in it.

Update to my stats since my last post:

Currently, I'm now at 27 wins and 8 losses, with 33 of 35 of those matches in catapults (mix between K-2, C4, and C1, I do not run splat cats)

Breakdown:

Mechs:
Catapult C-1: 3 wins, 0 losses: 1,276 damage done: 5 kills, 1 death
Catapult K-2: 12 wins, 6 losses: 7,630 damage done: 32 kills, 8 deaths
Catapult C-4: 10 wins, 2 losses: 7,464 damage done: 29 kills, 3 deaths
Spider 5-K: 2 wins, 0 losses: 374 damage done: 0 kills, 0 deaths (lol machine guns)

By the data given, the best mechs are my c-1 and c-4 builds, not to say I don't enjoy my ER PPC K-2.

My C-4 build uses 2 LRM 15's, 2 SRM 6's, and 2 medium lasers with a 280 XL engine and I think 6 tons of LRM ammo with 3 tons of SRM ammo to suffice.

My C-1 build is a little more specialized, with two LRM 15's, 3 medium lasers and 1 tag with a 300 XL engine and jump jets with ammo to spare.

My K-2 build is simple, 2 ER PPC's, 2 medium lasers, 2 machine guns. I rely on my ER PPC's for their range and punch and typically try to aim for the bigger mechs. The fact that they require no ammo allows me to continually harass at range and keep them behind their cover while other mechs are free to move around. This K-2 I believe doesn't use an XL engine but all of my cata's use DHS and Endo.
