So as solo players typically you will be playing against solo players and see a much higher win percentage because only at very high elos solo playing will you encounter a premade 4 man team. This is a good thing, typically you are playing newer players who have not joined a group to play with yet.

As a team you will player teams this is a good thing, many of the top players generally play 8 mans so 4 mans are med to upper teir player but are decent.

10.0 KD 4 Mans 6-1 W/L
2.5 KD 8 Mans 3-2 W/L

You can see my stats take a massive hit in 8 mans this is a sample size of about 300 games.

8 mans actually play very poorly I can tell you most top players are very excited for 12 mans much less blob play much more independent lance play.
