Not exactly sure when it was nerfed... the patches go by so quickly and we are not told everything within the Patch Notes, so it is difficult to say...

I do know that the SRMs have changed and I believe it has to do with the Lag between clicking the button and when the SRM's actually go off.

There is the Flap deal of course, you must have your flaps open but something in the overall mechanics of the way SRMs fire has changed.

Basically now if you run the A1 Cheeseball you have to almost Predict where the spot will be that you want to hit, which is almost imposible. Prior to this fix I was doing 1100-1300 in my cheeseball, now I am lucky to hit 300... Also due this newly introduced mechanic light mechs are all but impossible to hit. It seems that the only way you can actually hit with your full boat of missiles is if your enemy is standing still. Light mechs rarely take much damage from a full on A1 strike anyway... so this mechanic makes it very very difficult to hit an already almost unhittable target.

Guess I need to get me an Aimbot....

You can lift your flaps on your mech if you're OK with losing the 10% less arm damage from having them down.

Default key is / or \, I forget which.

I don't think there is a nerf but something is up with the netcode. You can probably still hit but you don't aim where you used to. Or you can't trust the reticule turning red to indicate hits or something like that. I'm having problems hitting as much as I used to since latest patch.

There is also that bug where shots to the back with SRM or if it was non-laser weapons in general that doesn't deal the correct ammount of damage. But that is not a new inclusion and it should be getting fixed on tuesday according to a dev post.
