I understand wanting to put lots and lots of stuff at the top but when I open general discussion and have to scroll for more than a second to get to the first non pinned topic it get's annoying.

I just want to see what the children are crying about today ! Please prune what isn't needed

they're crying about ECM and Missles (some legitimate QQ here) and Boating and there's others crying that all of the latter are fine

Normal users cant start any new topic or bump any topic through posting in that section, as PGI Staff mambers are the only ones with the rights to open or post in any topics in that section... so what is the point of even pinning a single thread there? Its not like any of them are in danger of sinking off the first page in the next half year.
