notice today when I come to the site, on the Jagermech screen just below where it says coming soon is a button that says "get a better browser" that is only there for a split second. Just enough time to click it.

Takes you to a site offering firefox, chrome, and Mozilla i think the third one is.

Wanted the site people to be aware as I doubt this is sanctioned by them.

Actually, it is.

There is a problem with the way that the website's Javascript runs with Internet Explorer. I had this problem with IE9, so I upgraded to IE10. The problem with Javascript went away, but the HTML-based Rich Text Editor started having problems.

I've tested both Chrome and Firefox, and they work flawlessly.

if they want it there, then it shouldn't disappear after a second.

And I'm running chrome so no clue why I would see it if its browser based.

Because it's the default screen that appears before the Javascript runs.

Your browser might take a few moments to execute the Javascript, and until it does, you see that page.

I'm still curious about this. The button appears and disappears for me day by day, and varies by browser. For example, today, while running on IE10, I get the little indie-browser-fanboi link that tells me to get something else because I'm running IE6 which is older than dirt (even though I'm running 10, not 6). Viewing the site with Chrome does not produce the error link. HOWEVER, yesterday, while viewing on Chrome, I got the indie-browser-fetishist button, yet the site worked fine on IE10.

When the page is sent to the user, the text and button explain to get a better browser because we only support browsers that 'computes' javascript; so if you use an outdated browser or noscript you're prompted with default text that isn't changed by Javascript when it starts up.

It's still happening.

I'm running Mozilla Firefox, The most current version,

I just opened the site in IE8 and it seems to render fine with this software, I'll try some more and let you know.

I just realized that this started happening yesterday after I did a Java update. IE8 Doesn't seem to be affected by this problem. tested it on two different computers.

it's happening right now as i type this. also, the website has been pretty sluggish lately. not that pgi would notice since they don't visit the forums.

Please, make it stop >_<. This is even worse than the SRM spread nerf.

hai, today is actually the first time I have experienced the white pony express... :)

Firefox 21.0

Testing other browsers later. With FF, it is not all the time, it changes forums and threads. Have cleared out cookies/cache.

IE 10. As soon as I clicked on the Log in link, the log in page shows up shown above.

Chrome Version 27.0.1453.116 m

Same as the other two.

Clear cache/cookies.

type in www.mwomercs.com and get the screen with the Play for Free (appears to be normal).
click on Home in the lower right corner (appears to be normal so far).
Click on Log in upper right corner then white background with all the text all on the left hand side

Easy :D For when it shows up in the forums, currently no visible rhyme nor reason that I can see.

The last two days over most of european day and evening time it has been either normal, or painfully slow. Lots of database access errors and 5 minute page loading pauses while other websites are coming up fine.

Browser Google Chrome

Yesterday I did not get a white screen, I was getting Chrome messages of "Oops, Chrome cannot reach mwomercs.com, other users have this problem too."

Just gone wonky again. Looks like someone keeps mis-placing the .css file(s).

Edit: broken again. I would get your web guy to take a look at possible naming errors when referencing the .css file(s).

Running newest verison of Firefox if that helps.
