My PC is only for gaming. I use Apple computers for anything else.

MotherBoard - ASUS Maximus V Formula
CPU - Intel i5 3570K Overclocked to 4.4Ghz
Cooling - Corsair H100i with Push/Pull
Ram - 16Gb G.Skill Sniper 1866
Storage - Crucial 120gb SSD (OS drive) OCG Agility 4 256Gb SSD (Main games such as MWO) 2 x 1Gb WD Black drives for other games.
Graphics - 2x Nvidia Geforce GTX 680 2Gb. I want to upgrade this to a 780Ti. Especially with the problems MWO has with SLI
PSU - EVGA 1000G 80+ Gold.
Case - Cooler Master Storm Stryker Modded for Push/Pull
OS - Win 8.1 64bit
Monitor - Apple 27" Cinema Display 2560x1440

Overall a solid machine. Stays cool and runs well. Could use a tweak here and there but I can't really complain too much.

A tad bit dated rig, but it serves me VERY well for my main use (audio, not gaming)

Case: Corsair Obsidian 650d
CPU: Intel i7-960 w/ Corsair H100i Hydro Cooler
Mobo: Asus Rampage III Formula
RAM: 24x GB GSkill Ripjaw
GPU: EVGA GTX 760 4GB
PSU: Seasonic X750 Gold

Drives:
1x 280 GB Samsung 840 Evo
1x 60GB Corsair Force LS
2x WD Black 1TB
1x WD Black 500GB

Starting to think about upgrading once x99 comes out. The Marvell SATA 6.0 controllers on the Rampage III are absolute garbage, slower than the SATA 3.0 intel controllers.

Posted my rig back on Page 5 (Post 83 of the thread)
To update the list:
FX-4100 OC to 4.6GHz
Monitor is currently a Acer A221HQL

and today I traded the EVGA 560 Ti 2GB GDDR5 for a VisionTek Radeon HD 6970 2GB GDDR5, Card installed now it's just a matter of getting AMD/ATI Drivers and getting rid of the nVidia Ones.

Several Rigs, main is one of 5 gaming rigs

But for my main one I am running for gaming right now,

Amd 8350 at 5ghz
custom water loop tripple rad
Samsung 512 gb evo ssd drive
640gb WD Black storage drive
Amd 7970 3gb XFX card
16 GB of DDR3 1866 ram

Windows 7 pre. 64 bit and Linux Mint

Custom case I modded and built into my desk :-)

The other case in the pic is a custom case I built by hand 5 years ago, no CnC or Cad involved. I liked the Mountain mod UFO cases so I took it upon myself to build a case that was similar in design. First case I have ever built by hand, used aluminum and then lined it with Granite on the outside. Used to be a Granite installer for four years, lots of scrape Granite for free. I have this case tore down right now, but the temps in this case are amazing! It had my old Phenom II 940 B.E. and a 4870 512 mb card in that pic. My how five years fly by, lol.

This pic is the old setup and another rig, Still works great for gaming,

Intel Q9550 @ 4ghz
8 gb of gskill 1066 ram
640 wd black drive
Amd 6870 2gb

Windows 7 64 bit, and my hackintosh rig, vanilla install, no breakage after updates :-)

Very Nice Barbaric, I can hit 55/25 out to Chicago on a good day with a 50/50 (TWCBC).

But I'm jealous of the guys out in Kansas City on Google Fiber (838Mbs up / 877Mbs Down) . Have you seen them? Google Fiber Speed Test - YouTube

I've got 10 gig Ethernet (on both Fiber & Copper) run throughout the house and into my server farm as well as infini-band and fiber channel between the racks. But I'm still crossing my fingers that Google shows up in Dayton one day.

Used to have a X6 1090T and an R9 270X before. The AMD CPU was such a bottleneck, almost trippled my FPS and everything is much more stable.

Current primary PC
Chassis: Corsair C70 OD green (not a *huge* fan of the chassis, but it fits my radiators)
Processor: Intel 3770k @ 4.8ghz
CPU cooler: Corsair H110
Ram: 32gb forgetwhat
GPU: 2 x HiS Radeon 7950 BOOST cards sometimes in CFX (yes, works in MWO - 180-220fps) if I feel like dealing with flicker
OS: Windows 7 x64, Windows 8.1 x64, Debian linux (I changed OS a bunch trying to fix hitreg issues after PGI's server move).
Network card: Broadcom Netlink onboard, Broadcom NeteXtreme 2 port PCIe
Storage: Sandisk Extreme 240gb boot, 2xSamsung 512gb 840pro, external esata 16disk array (video editing and capture)
PSU: Corsair AX1200i 1200w (overkill, I know)
Mouse: Logitech G500 for light mechs, G700s for others (yes I switch back and forth)
Keyboard: $10 Amazon Basics (haven't found a nicer keyboard that I like yet)
Soundcard: the onboard one, optical out to a Yamaha RX-465 receiver
Headphones: MANY - Koss ProDJ100, Koss PortaPro, Sony MDR-v6, Audio Technica ATH-m50, AKGk712
Monitors: occasionally a 42" 120hz LED LCD tv, otherwise a trio of dell ultrasharp 27's. I do photo/video work so color accuracy > refresh rate. I'm eager to try one of those 144hz displays though.

****** time warner connection - 100 down 5 up with an ongoing 10-15% packet loss until October (supposedly. When they finish a rollout of 300/10 service in our area).

Sometimes I play from my office after-hours if I'm stuck here waiting for a data copy or if I'm bored during lunch - if that's the case, I play on a 27 inch imac, core i7, 32gb ram, geforce 680mx.

I get great hitreg from the office on the following connection. The ping on speedtests is usually under 12, not sure what's up right now...

I'll take the 10 up every time for gaming, so I have to disagree.

Pay attention to the outgoing bandwidth though - MWO only pushes less 100kbits of data while playing. Latency > throughput for games.
