  • CPU: Intel Xeon x5670 OC'd to 4.2 GHz
  • CPU Cooler: Coolermaster Hyper 212+
  • Case: Phanteks Enthoo Pro
  • Video Card: ASUS Matrix Platinum R9 280x OC'd to 1180 core/6500 memory
  • RAM: Kingston HyperX Black Edition 3x4GB DDR3
  • Motherboard: ASUS P6T Deluxe V2
  • Headset: Sennheiser PC 360
  • Sound Card: HT Omega Claro Halo
  • PSU: EVGA SuperNova 1000w G2
  • Keyboard: Corsair K60
  • Mouse: Logitech G700s
  • Hard Drive: HGST Ultrastar 7k3000 2TB 7200 RPM
  • Monitor: NEC EA231 WMi (1080p)
  • O/S: Windows 8.1 64-bit
May be getting a new monitor/video card soon. No need for me to get a new CPU anytime in the near future, 6 cores/12 virtual cores overclocked does just fine (and should be especially good for DX12 as well). Hoping that Windows 10 will be a great success.

I just have a lame ass laptop.

A-10 AMD 2.4 gig
ATI Radeon graphics
8 gigs of memory
Windows 8.1
Amazingly it runs the game very well. I have to force it into 32 bit mode. Is there a reason for that?

Top photo is way old and I've moved since. Server room is near identical except that it is behind a large glass wall & door to isolate the noise. Plus the giant Liebert under floor HVAC is damn loud (and F*ing freezing!) as well. But my new office is still bare drywall that still needs sanding, Hope to get it finished in the next year then I'll drag out some new pictures, people keep asking for them.

Stompy robots some has gooten a bit stale for me. But I'm moving into World of Ships and Armored Warfare. The server room you see does happen to host the COMSTAR NA1.MECH-CONNECT.NET TS3 server: http://ts3server://NA1.MECH-CONNECT.NET

Sorry for the poor quality of the photos; the first photo is when I was installing Win 8.1 64 on the rig (using an old PNY GTX 465 Black Edition unlocked to a fully working GTX 470), and the 2nd photo was when I bought a used Asus Matrix Platinum R9 280x and had just installed it on the rig. Case door was opened for photo purposes; I always run the rig closed.

WARNING! Archeological Alert!

My "beast":
Mobo: Asus P5B
CPU: Intel Core2Duo E6300 (1.86GHz)
RAM: some Kingston 2GB DDR2 800Mhz
Graphics: Asus Radeon HD4850 500MB RAM
HD: Samsung Spinpoint F3 500GB
PSU: some Chieftec 450W
OS: Windows XP

I play with graphic options set to low. Typical framerate 40-12 fps (shameful "best" was 2fps  (literally TWO)).
Now you can start to wonder, how the heck i'm able to launch this game.

FPS runs quite low :( generally between 9 and 19 depending on maps or luck. looking to make my gaming PC soon or later, but I do not like bulky things on my work desk ... I prefer clean space, as work from home :) any suggestion ? I was looking at Asus ROG the very small one, but think is too expensive!

Hi there. It's not much but for the time being, it gets the job done (-ish):

Board: Asus ATX P5Q SE2 mit 8 GB RAM and a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Quad
Case: Corsair Carbide Air 540 White
HD: OCZ ARC 100, 480 GB
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 760 OC 4096MB on an Asus on a Acer S243HL screen
Keyboard: Roccat Isku
Mouse: Razer Death Adder White (I am a lefty, so not much choice for a mouse there)

I know, my CPU is a clear bottleneck on that one. A board/cpu/ram swap is in the works, maybe my gameplay will be getting better with that ;)

PS: Just for the fun of it I have an Oculus Rift DP2 and a Leap Motion Controller. But as I have just learned, this might mess up my MWO .... Update on that one will follow ...
