Gigabyte LGA 2011-3 Intel X99 Over Clocking E-ATX DDR4 2133 LGA Motherboards GA-X99-SOC Champion

Binned 5960x 4.6ghz @ 1.32v

Don't go with Gigabyte. Learn from my misery with their top-tier launch board and switch to ASUS instead.

Binned? It was put in the "regular" bin if it takes 1.32v to get that thing to 4.6GhZ. Lots of people are getting that with 1.30 or less, THOSE are the 'binned' chips. I hope you're not paying extra for somebody to call it 'binned' when it's just 'boxed'.

The chip does 4.6 @ 1.26v stable. You're right about the Gigabyte board it's trash. I ordered a Asus board should be here at the end of the week.

Nothing fancy with my setup yet. Been a PC gamer for over 20 years but never had a proper gaming system.

So my setup is simple:
Toshiba Satelite P50W-B
Logitech ClearChat Comfort USB Headset
Logitech G300s gaming mouse

The mouse is the first gaming mouse I've ever bought and I only just got it last weekend specifically for MWO. Till now it's been 3 buttons for the past 25+ years. :P

I have had plans to build myself a decent gaming system, but real life keeps taking away my money. Only just last month I was a couple hundred dollars away from starting my build, when the car rego came due, followed by the gas bill, then the electric bill. But someday, I will have something worthy to post here.

Oh, I suppose part of my setup during my christmas break from work, will include my microphone and camera as I'll be recording 1 or 2 Let's Play videos of MWO. :D

@ Scanz -
I use vsync so I stay @ 60fps 24/7 on 1440p max settings. But when I take off vsync I get anywhere from 70fps-120fps. Lowest noted framerate is 55fps.

There's nothing fancy to my setup. I'm a gamer since I was a kid, but I've mostly been content with okay-ish graphics and enjoyment of games in general.

That being said, my rig is a basic Dell Optiplex 755 with a Core2Duo @2.44GHz, 3GB of DDR2 RAM, and a MSI NVIDIA GeForce GT 610 graphics card. It has Windows 8.1, and on a Hard Drive of around 250GB. The rig is hooked to a 54 inch TV, the audio goes through my 5.1 surround system in my room, and I use a Dell mouse and keyboard. I can't recall if I have vsync active during gameplay or not. I run MWO at medium settings and it looks and feels fine for what it is.

Someday I might have a better computer that I can come and show off in here, or not.

I have never talked about anything of mine and I have been gone for a little while from gaming due to school. Here are my current main system specs:

Asus Sabertooth 990FX Gen3 R2.0 (only AM3+ with PCIE 3.0)
AMD FX 9590 at 5 Ghz (watercooled)
4 x 8 GB DDR3 19200 (but only at 1866mhz) G-Skill Sniper
Dell Precision 730P Raid Card with 4x Samsung 850 EVOs 256 MB running in RAID-0 (1 TB)
Onboard AMD Raid running 2x Seagate 7200 RPM 1TB running in RAID-0 (2 TB)
LG BRDL RW drive
AMD Fury X (currently OC'd at 1157 on GPU and 570 at the RAM through Trixx) Rock Stable
(3x) LG 25UM57 monitors
Logitech 930 Headset
Corsair K95 (w/ Cherry Reds)
Logitech G600
LEPA 1600W
All in a Corsair 540 Air case with ICY Docks to increase my storage capacity to 15 2.5" SSD, and optic drive and two 3.5" HDD total.

I also use this system to video edit for my school work but still wanted to game on it. My laptop is nice but not the same to game on... it is an ASUS ROG G551JM with the HD and optical drive swapped for 2x Samsung 850 Pro and an external ASUS BRDL Burner.
