Just shot a tree down on river city day, hit it by accident with dual ultra AC5 an it fell down to about 20 degrees then stopped... going to try find the tree in testing grounds :wacko:

could you knock them over when MWO first came out ?

My buddy gunned down a tree with an AC10 the other day.

I don't recall that ever happening before.

There is that and a lamp post, I think they are tests for destructable environments.

Yeah, it has been in game since closed beta. Only works on certain props, and they can absorb a lot of damage.

Well found them [there's 3] if you go to the church stand at the door and turn around facing away, across the road you'll see 3 trees that are already slightly bent over, shoot them and they'll go over :wacko: cant give cords as the map wasn't working.

It has been in the game since River City was introduced. There's a couple of objects (trees, lampposts, etc) that were put in as tests for destructible objects. Before one of the RC revamps, there was also a destructible fence on the upper drop area.

You've been able to shoot down specific trees for a LONG TIME.

Think back to the NGNG comic, that was a result of a large thread started about a specific MWO youtube video creator accidentally shooting down a tree with his triple AC2 Dragon.
