trying to decide which Dragon would be good for the 1st one, 1C or the 5N. 1C has max armor, a possible 4 large laser or PPC says it all. 5N dunno if 3 ballistic is even worth trying to manage tonnage, can it mount an AC20.

The 1c is best , flame is as good or better. Flame will take an ac20 in left torso. The 1 n has 2 missle slots, good for 2 srm4 or 2 ssrm. 5n is least useful. Lately I run a 1c with 330xl, 2erppc & srm4 art.

There is either a smaller or a larger mech that does what ever a dragon is doing, better.
Not only that but once MM4 is released when you drop in a dragon, the enemy will get a 3D or K2 or JM6. All of which are generally more deadly than any Dragon. (assuming their build isn't crap).
