Need clarification on MWO Premium vs. Beta Stat Reset

I don't know the exact numbers, but it's safe to say that many if not most "hardcore" WoT players pay for premium - though granted, some of them (not many) are able to earn enough gold in-game to supplement or completely cover the cost. Anyway, overall it seems there's a pretty sizeable chunk of the player base that's willing to pay for it, even at what feels like a pretty high price-point for what you get.
MWO could certainly deviate widely from that, but given the concrete evidence WoT provides for what people are willing to pay for, my suspicion is that it will land somewhere in the same ballpark.

This is the thing that made me quit WoT most of all. Not because I can't afford it, but because they were charging traditional MMO subscription prices in exchange for added XP and Credits for a basic game of tech tree, match maker, plus a dozen maps.
If MWO follows that pricing scheme, they won't be getting my money (beyond the Founder's package).

Is this a complaint? Because it's silly if so... It doesn't matter when you pay for premium, you're always going to get a leg up on the guys who don't pay.

Says so quite clearly in the Operation:Inception announcement
Early access to the game along with Founder's assets availability starts July 17th.

Yes but where does it states that you get BETA access on July 17th??i have seen in a lot of threads earlier where people mentioned getting access to BETA on july 17th when they purchase the founders pack..
Even the OP here said
"Vets and Elites get membership to Premium service, where they get more CBills and XP. And they gain access to the Beta on July 17th."

The announcement says you get access on July 17th. It does not specify which stage of development the game is in at that point; Most people assume it is still 'closed beta' at the point. (It certainly isn't an open beta or a launch if it's still exclusive)

That is why i keep on asking. On what basis people are saying its closed beta?? if its just assumption then i assume its the release date. i say cause i am speculating without any basis available.. so maybe the OP should not say beta access on 17th july??

They use a hybrid model, you can play for free and buy stuff from the cash shop, or you can pay for a premium/vip account which gets goodies (not sure what) and still buy from the cash shop. So you can still sub if you want and if you're a lifetime then you're set.

I don't see anything in Operation Inception that says you get access to Beta when you buy a founders package. What you do get is early access to the live game. If MWO goes live on July 21st, founders will have been playing for a week already since they got access on July 17th.
As for the whole "premium" I'm pretty sure it's going to be a WoT style where you go to the cash shop and upgrade your account to premium for so many days, because of this:
- Two-month premium account to MechWarrior Online at launch: Earn XP & C-Bills faster.

(it wasnt a complaint -.-)
Your trailing "Woo" looked sarcastic... you know, missing a "!" or a "Hoo!" on the end

As noted above, misunderstandings are the way of the internet. Passion or Concern are quite often read by others as Anger or Scorn.
