How about a bounty system. Give every player a bounty or cbill reward value for killing. Games may still end up being unbalance, but when you kill off a good team you get paid very well for it. People could play just for the sake of raising their bounty. It would be like the Wild West and could be fun!

So every time we kill a steering wheel underhiver... we get a bonus?

That would be a terrible idea, all it would do is encourage Kill stealing.

The thing is they spent the money on ELO does it suck yes but at some point as the CEO you have to say you bought it and spent the money on it so you use it.
This happens all the time, HR departments buy fubar performance plans all the time spending up to $250,000 thousand dollars on them then lower management looks them over, and say a this doesn't work we need to scrap it. That's when the CEO steps in and says you bought you use it.
It seems like this is the same type of situation. They got scammed into buy a chess program that would solve all their problems and it was a bust no one likes it. So it should be scrapped except the CEO says nope you bought this fubar chess program you make it work.

dafuq i just read?
You know they are designing the system themselves. Elo is a kind of ranking system, not a brand name. You of course are aware that Elo is/was/always has been planned to be adjusted until they find the parameters they want. You obviously made that post as a joke. Right? Please tell me I'm right...

I liked random better because as much as you guys hate the underhive there is nothing as therapeutic as spectating someone in it.

If that's the case then I can scrap the team working on it. And hire a new team since the team that building it is not creating a system that the community likes or wants to use. Since I'm trying generate money from that community in form a donation base since the games free to play the community is going to win out in the end.

You could run a bounty tournament too.
Just give a bonus for killing people on a leader board. I just think that a bounty fits with mercenary and fighting for the sake of fighting.
I actually think ELO kinda works, its just limited by its newness.

Well you can go back to your perfect elo tuning and 15 min queue times, or you can keep giving pgi data so they can get the tuning a lot closer on the half system we have now to avoid said queue times....
