Map looks really nice. However I'd say it requires an even more specialized build than Alpine. Not sure how I feel about it so far.

I disagree. It's too large for 8v8, and I'm finding it difficult to make contact without base camping. 12v12 might be better with 4 scouts per team, but would still be spotty.

Heat isn't nearly as bad of an issue as I thought it would be. Also, there appear to be a lot of places in the crystals where your mech can get stuck. Hasn't happened to me yet, but I've seen a number of pilots get hung up, so be careful.

Worst map yet.

Funny how many of the grasping masses will collapse into squeals of delight at even the tiniest eye candy and completely ignore the relevant criteria. Approach vectors, firing lanes, rush balance, camp balance, flanking dynamics...all hopelessly buggered here. I'll bet not a single line-of-sight matrix was run to actually simulate the balance on this sloppy joe. It will, of course, suffer from all the camping complaints and capping-troll problems that Alpine does, without even the benefit of low temperatures to allow any, y'know, actual gameplay.

Not to mention that the hot nature is an obvious transparent ploy to get people to buy more coolant flushes. I guess it occurred to nobody at this clueless-beyond-repair developer that allowing only one coolant flush for the entire duration of a monstrously elephantine map of this order wasn't exactly productive. PGI is clearly going under financially and resorting to under-handed P2W tricks while hoping (unsuccessfully) that nobody notices.

It's time we started voting with our wallets and demanding our rights as a community.

Fix this now.

meh not enough open space. plays just like a smaller map

there is an issue with lighting and shadows.


theres been all these technical issues in new maps lately. the texture popin issue in alpine and the lighting issue in desert.

PGI You have hit the ball right out of the park with the new map, totally orgassaming cosmic. Also liking the new speed decay, all i need now is collisions to be readded and my piloting skills will be complete. Shame you cant help with my aiming tho but practice makes perfect :P

good lord this new map is awesome!, now if only we could get destructible environments, and break chunks of the.... stuff off onto our enemies heads.

Just had my first run around in my spider with the new map on the training grounds, Love it already.

If people really need coolant specificly for hot maps like this and caustic then they have build their mechs badly.
