Head Hitboxes Taking Too Much Damage From All Missiles

So, either
a) srms/lrms got such a massive boost in damage they are ridculously OP now
or
Head hit boxes are now broken to game breaking levels.

I had previously thought that it was perhaps the Jagermech, but it may be all mechs.
At one point, they had reduced the effect of splash damage to head hitboxes. It seems like they may have accidentally (?) turned that off?
To clarify, I withnessed a jagermech one-shotted by a splatcat in the head, as well as a volley of LRM's crit out a Jagermech's head and kill it(despite the missiles actually hitting him in the back).

I can confirm being headshot by LRM's and legged by LRM's.

Also, maybe coincidentally, maybe not, broke my record for damage that very same round; 1742 damage.
I know there's a problem with SRMS and SSRMS splashing too much, I know it's being addressed, but it that problem possibly present on LRMs too? Maybe that's why LRMs have undergone so many buffs and nerfs (damage, flight path, lock time...) and indirect buffs and nerfs (ECM, Artimis, TAG, NARC...) Could it be the damage is just plain inconsistent?
Could explain the differences in player experience (And opinion) if it's based on mech geometry like the srm bug, different people pilot different mechs and take different amounts of damage?
Maybe something worth looking into PGI, might help even things out.

There seems to be an increase in splash dmg. The placement of the head in the Jager doesnt help me thinks. This thing gets headshot alot.
Like in other threads tested, LRMs seem to do indeed double the dmg since this patch. How ironic since they were already OP.
Time to give this game a break. WE NEED A HOTFIX!

Just take your ECM equipped mechs out for a ride. Its the only way to live now. And it isnt like ECM wasnt strong enough before this patch ...

Its not a splash issue as I believe it was to be removed while they work out the dynamics of it with the new 'Mech hitbox configurations. At the moment LRMs are stripping legs and also head shooting even it the LRM fire is being taken in the rear.

Getting an LRM volley to the head at the start of a fight and instantly killing you is getting a bit old.
