Missiles used to do reduced damage to cockpits.
This was removed or reduced with this patch. This is why you're getting headshott'ed by LRMs now.

Something is wrong, I am killing people in one volley with my Awesome-8R LRM boat. Just took on 2 Atlas DDC's at the end of a match and was able to kill both of them with one volley each on yellow CT's.

Maxed out my armor on my shiny new Jagermech. Last 2 games I have been 1 shotted by LRM volleys (Maybe coincidence?). Not cool PGI if it isn't. Time to test this out with my 60 LRM stalker.

When I first started on my Jager tonight I was getting whooped by PPC and LRM to the face. Yes I was taken down twice by a volley of LRMs to the face. So I just learned if I am going to get hit to just twist my torso and NOT take it in the face..
