The problem is that you can't find a decent loadout because it's not a decent mech :)
Maybe you can get decent DPS or firepower with 4*AC2 or 3*UAC5 (both of them using the macros, of course..) (2*AC20? No, range is too short), but the main problem is its vulnerabilty...

XL Engine? No, it's side torsos are big and easy to hit...
STD Engine? No, TOO damn slow...

Hello,

I dont think so. This build is a good compromise between speed, armor and firepower. And it uses STD Engine. Okay the legs are the mechs achilles heel. So you will get problems with lights. But assaults will fear you. And you are quite effective on every range. Maybe drop some ammo for adding AMS, because jagermech is a LRM magnet

This is my favorite loadout for the JM6-DD
At first i had a AMS installed but with the 12 vs 12 gameplay i prefered to have some more Ammo for the AC5 instead.
Here i have 3 screenshots to show that the build is worth a try.

I am happy for any feedback.

I'm messing around with something really similar (2xUAC/5, 4xMG, 2xMdLas) and am really enjoying it so far as well :)

The main piece of feedback I'd have is to get that ammo out of your torso like so: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...172c753acb65d91

Except replace FF with Endosteel because it's the same thing but better.

4Mgs, 2 LBX 2Med Lasers XL300 Perfekt fitting for C-bill Farming TONS of Damage (got several 900-1000+ dmg Games with it) I call it the MeatGrinder
6Mgs, 2 ER PPC STD300 Endurance, Crit Monster and some Sniping
4 Mgs, 2 UAC5 STD 280
5 AC2 XL215 Slow but u will need the Ammo, no doubts but i´ll do everything for more Dakka :(

Plenty more on my Mind but those are the most viable i think

Edit Putting Dual Gauss or Dual Ac20 (any Dual only Builds) on this Mech is just dumb and a Waste of Possibilities...For this u can choose the Cheaper JM6-S

Ragtag Brawler

Probably my best Jager for stats and I do have to say one of the most fun builds I have ran. I think half of my kills is when someone blows off a side torso then turns away thinking I had an XL. :D

Your build looks solid dude!

Have had a lot of success with this build. Ran 5xAC/2 before, dual AC/20, all that. This is a pretty brutal loadout.

I'm having a lot of success with (GASP! CHEESEWEAPONS):

2 x PPC (swap one or both with erPPC to taste)
1 x Gauss, +3t ammo
5 (!) x MGs, +1t ammo

XL 260

Best part? Made use of. Every. Single. Hardpoints. :(

Here is a sniper version that uses all hardpoints. But it would be my advise to drop the MGs and put on some additional armor:

4x Ac5
1x Ac2
XL 200

Good heat, almost stock armour. Max DPS bonkers.

Makes me feel like I'm in a proper Jagermech, not a generic Heavy mech that happens to have ballistics.

i was playing with this and evilC macro. it's nice. I only put 2 machine guns and downgraded the xl engine so i can put 12 tons of uac5 ammo, and 4 tons of ac2 ammo.

Yeah, I have been playing with a lot of variations on that. That seems like one of the most "average" builds.
I have tried:

3XAC2, 3Xmachineguns : good sustained DPS, but no burst damage. Machine guns are useless for the first half of the match.

3XAC2, UAC5: Good sustained DPS, but light on burst power, runs hot and a bit lacking in ammo

2AC2, 2UAC5: Good sustained DPS, Good burst power. I really like this, but there just isn't enough weight for ammo. Would probally work well on a phract though

2AC2, 2AC5: This WOULD work really well with an XL225, except the AC2 ghost heat bug totally kills this build for super dakka annoyance. I spent quite a bit of time getting timing worked out on firecontrol only to have the thing overheat for no reason... But you could try running it, just make sure your AC2's always fire together.

Ratta-Tat-Tat

This build is bueno... eats lights for breakfast, and it's very fun to watch any part of the enemy that is exposed die instantly. It's dead at long range, so be careful.
