Well lesse:
1.)Splash damage is bugged and causes missiles to do way too much damage.
2.)In this last patch they fixed legs not taking proper missile damage.
3.)Holy **** LRMs are legging everyone now!

Coincidence? I think not!

It's like nobody pays attention to any of the discussion that happens around here. Then again half of you are ******* clueless and the other half do their best do defend whatever god awful FOTM cheese build they're in love with.

Scouts are swim or sink. They take little to no damage from LRM, unless they run in a straight line, get stuck or choose the wrong moment to change the direction then they disintegrate in a moment. My entire mech vanished. VANISHED. missing only a single arm (as indicated as the first thing to go from a different hit), and nearly untouched armor otherwise, you're honestly trying to argue a raven with 2 srm 2s did 234 (not counting whatever damage went to my head) damage?

Lets even argue that I was at 80%, we're now at 187 damage done from the streaks. It was the 2 lrm 20s.

And lets even said it was the combination that did 187 damage. Are you honestly saying that this should be happening because I'm a bad pilot according to you? That a 82 point alpha (if every single missile hit) instead did nearly 200 (if not more).

Due to the way missiles track a target (naive pursuit logic) they tend to fall behind so the arc looks like this...

So you hit the legs a LOT, especially on faster mechs.

Combined with fixing leg damage and this is what you get.

I played some great games last night on my 2LRM10 + Tag +Art Awesome. Emptied my full store of missiles (I don't carry that many), hitting everything. I'd finish games with 700ish damage. I fire my few LRMs in direct LOS with Tag on as much as possible.

Now the same types of games or even games where I do much worst, it seems like I CANNOT get less than 1000 damage. This was very rare before the patch since I carry only 3 tons of ammo. Now its every game. Something got broken hard. Probably the leg fix causing reverbing splash damage.

Yeah LRM's are hitting my legs like crazy right now. I usally put 2/3 to max leg armor and I am getting double legged before my torso is even crit now.
