My mechs have not had this issue, but I have been playing Treb 5J, 7M, and CTF-3D, so I always have jumpjets and intentionally jump to *force* the LRMs to hit my legs, but I have only been legged once. And that always happens to me, so I haven't noticed any problem with my mechs.
Just Jaegers and Atlai.

Something for LRM jockeys to watch for and try to track:
Are you keeping lock all the way in, or do you loose lock before they strike?
Are you firing indirect, direct, or direct w/Artemis?
What is the target doing? Moving? In cover?

No they do not. Stop scaring everyone for no reason.
The leg damage got fixed, the splash damage did not got rid of. The numbers are consistant with that.
Mechs standing still seem to suffer to little damage, running mechs seem to suffer to much damage. Scouts seem to suffer almost no damage or get destroyed by around 120 missiles.
Dumbfire did double damage before the patch btw.
Atlases still need a good punding of around 300+missiles to get destroyed. The only mechs spontaneously combusting are jagermechs, because their cockpit is broken/big.

Probably splash, the same issue with your legs. They need to remove missile splash damage, or set the missile to splash ONLY UP TO ITS QUOTED FIGURE PER MISSILE. Right now missile weapons can do far more damage than they claim by the weird splash effects.
Sorry, this is on a Catapult.

You got hit. 2x20LRM would instakill you everytime since always, IF THEY HIT YOU. I instakill scouts form 100% to 0% all the time, if they choose to run the wrong way around. Very little scouts do it, but if you run in a straight line I will alpha kill you 100% of the time. Even when LRM did 1.5 damage.
Scouts are swim or sink. They take little to no damage from LRM, unless they run in a straight line, get stuck or choose the wrong moment to change the direction then they disintegrate in a moment. Was always like that with LRM. I hat two cicadas three games ago, they ran circles around my buddies, while I was firing the whole time at them with 3x15LRM Artemis IV and TAG. Both Cicadas did sourvive. I legged one with my laser...then they came for me and killed me. I was shooting at them for around 2 full minutes non stop.
Also you got hit by streaks, not just LRM. Streaks are way more broken then LRM right now. Streaks killed you not LRM fire.
