Actually, I think I'm old enough, but I'm European. See, we played advanced space crusade back in the day. Then we went on to play Space hulk and warhammer 40k. Battletech was completely unknown to me before the arrival of Mechwarrior 3050 for the SNES.

Man, that brought back memories. Kind of sad that I never played the crescent hawk games. But yeah, LAM, I wants it, and I have been wanting it since a bunch of guys started making a macross mod for shogo. That's about the time when I learned about the whole LAM thing, and I was all: "OMFG! They can transform and become planes like the veritech fighters from macross? Allright, sod macross, battletech roxorz teh big one!!1!eleventyone!!2!!"

I missed Space Hulk for some reason. I looked at Warhammer when I was in high school but the cost of the minis was prohibitive at that time. I got into Warhammer later when the disposable income caught up with the hobbyist. When they rereleased Space Hulk I grabbed a copy just for the terminators. Almost as good as Veritechs I tell ya.
