Hi Gang,

Just wondering if anyone associated with MWO was going to be present at the PAX East Gaming convention in Boston, MA this weekend? I believe Russ Bullock is on a panel at some point so I'll try and say "hi" and convince him he needs to hire me. I'll be there on Sunday meeting up with some game devs from other companies but it would great to also meet up with some of the MWO community members who might be attending.

I'll also be trying to pry secrets, swag and free game codes from any developers whilst I regale them with epic tales told in the voice of Duncan Fisher.

I'm not far but my wife wouldn't like me to invest the weekend at a gaming conference. If you do get Russ in the same room as you, make sure to bring up CW!

Perhaps they could host a panel on how to alienate hardcore fans and drive away new players.

Anyways, back on track and more constructively, if anyone gets someone from PGI in the same room, what we need to hear about is Community Warfare. That's all they need to say at PAX.

It's a video GAME. It's ALL cheesy stuff. But yes, PGI and IGP hate you all. The more money, time and emotional investment you spend, the more they hate you.

I hope they do give you a job. I love your work and have always thought that Duncan Fisher made MW4 one of the best game in the Mechwarrior series.

A booth means PGI would have a spot in a con where throughout the entire event people can approach them to discuss the game or get swag like t-shirts or codes to redeem on the website. It would be great advertising for the game and it's a bad sign that PGI is not doing this.

A panel is dedicated to a single subject and only runs for a set time such as an hour or so. In this case they are doing a F2P panel where they have to compete with Star Citizen and Chris Roberts for attention.
