I never got 15 dollars for one lawn mow. Matter of fact I didn't necessarily get PAID, but I would be given some money if I went out somewhere. Kids these days.

Sigh, fine, ammo is a consumable. So are grenades, and missiles, and rpg rounds, and air strike call-ins. Good thing MWO doesn't have any of that and is superior with all energy no-heat weapons OH WAIT NO EVERY GAME HAS LIMITED AMMO AND/OR HEAT MANAGEMENT, In the aspect of a tangible one shot benefit item with a recurring cost, I don't know of any console game that uses such a system. Because you don't earn money per match, you earn xp with which you unlock new items, you build your load out, and generally speaking when you run out of something it is gone.

The only thing I could relate the coolant flush to in Modern War would be an instant health regenerator, or temporary screen shake disabler, or a recoil eliminator, something to let you shoot accurately longer while in a pitched fight. Even consoles know not to do that. F2P games do it to make the money they don't make when you buy the game.

You literally have no idea what you're talking about, and have created this narrative in your head, complete with storybook villain, nefarious plot of world domination, and the destruction of family values.

They probably kick puppies too.

Perhaps the most shocking post in this thread for me was not the OP's ... paranoid parrot impression...

But the insinuation that R&R was P2W...

I want to throw up now...

wrong. the teen market is the largest. why do you think we are inundated by Justin Beiber or Taylor Swift? You know nothing of today's marketplace. For every 35 year old guy playing this game there are 4 15 year olds. And if you think they don't get hold of money to spend on video games then... uh... i don't know what to tell you. I was at this guys house the other night, he had a theatre built for his kids, with 8 lazy boys in it, every console game there is, hooked up with surround sound on what appeared to be a 100 inch flatscreen tv or projector or something.. it was huge, obscene and rediculous. there were about 10 kids in that room playing black ops arguing over which game to play next.

"Dad I want 15 bucks for MWO."
"Then mow the lawn."
"K. Dad, lawn is mowed, 15 bucks worth of MC please!"
"Ok son now shadap."

but that doesn't matter, because I like MWO no matter how they decide to change it up, but it needs more maps BAD and the devs should heed my warning the teens will move on if they get bored from not having enough maps! also there needs to be better ways to join wings, find servers, filter maps, so forth.

I was refering to Cbills not actual real world cash. The R&R mechanic would not appeal to young people at all. I have a seven year old who would like to think she is heir to Onasis fortune and actually has the ability to spend it.

And truth is often stranger than fiction. Every story needs a good villain.

Greetings!

Welcome to KAETETôã

Home of the MODS

It is here that we Forge

Terrible threads into bad threads

Bad threads into good threads

And good threads into great threads.

If this thread is new to k-town it is

probably because it is terrible

worry not we are making it better already.

K-town does have 10 Commandments*

*10 for for now

We also have the Sacred Pages penned by the MODS themselves

And

The Gospel of the MODs written by Acolyte of the Word RoadBeer

Also

Enjoy the BATTLE HYMN OF THE MODS / POST LERIAN JIHAD WAR CHANT

Please review these so you too

Can post better and enjoy the blessings of the MODs

While avoiding being smote first

In the coming Digipocalyse.

Praise the MODS, Tremble before the ELDER MODS.

Also part of our family here is the

Post Lerian Jihad

“We Post better than you”

While their official home is now in Depe

Their mission of speaking truth to stupid

And civilizing not just the wilds

But all of the forums.

Enjoy your stay here in K-town

Umm.......

MWO for xBox is incoming..........

https://wt360e.com/join_obt/new/

Seeing at WoT is like a template for this game, I expect MWO to follow suit.
