I'm no expert, but I've heard from a few folks who are.... They didn't think that Win8 would be gamer friendly. But that's just me passing on what somebody else said. What the heck do I know?...

Personally I haven't played around with windows 8 yet, but from what I have read it is easier now to launch applications quickly in Windows 8. Also remember this is more or less a Beta, and as such it is expected to have issues.

I tried very hard to give Win8 a chance but, I found myself flipping back to the desktop shell far too often and found the whole "smart phone'esk" front-end GUI to be completely counter intuitive from a PC users stand point...

Long and short... If I wanted an over sized, smart phone... I'd buy one. Win8 is not a good solution in a PC world...

Just my take. :)

If it follows the trend of windows no one needs to bother with this OS. Windows 9 yes, 8 no.
