Since apparently, most people group.... they should have no problem balancing a premade on each side, should they????

Since we are now getting a segmented community anyway due to 1st and 3rd person, a solo-only queue should be back on the table.

Then I know I failed, and it was a quirk of that matchmaker. Just guarantee it, and mark premades as premades, and Im happy as a pig in ****.

I'd like to believe they arent actually @$#@$ing stupid enough to split the community over 3rd vs 1st person perspective, but it seems they are. In all honesty, that is probably when I quit as it's proof that lunatics ( publisher? ) are running the asylum.
I am not calling for the queue to be split though. Just mark premades and put one on each team... then start your elo calculations. I mean, if premades are the majority, it shouldn't be hard to get one or two premades for each side, right?

Marking premades on the scoreboard and ensuring one premade on each side would go a long way to balance the game.
There are many, many systems that this game needs that are basically standard everywhere else.
Instead they work on things they can monetize, like coolant, or draw in some nebulous audience like third person.
The only positive thing they've done recently is lay bare their true attitudes.

I agree... they shouldn't split the community. In view of that... they shouldn't even add 3rd person either but it looks like they are moving forward.
If 3rd person is allowed and combined with 1st person then they will need to nerf 3rd person users XP and Cbills gain by at least 50% for the advantage that will give them. I.E. If you want to use it, you pay the price for the advantage.

Then it would have at least been more fair, sadly this is not usually the case. Premades can match vs full pug, and thus they usually do. It DOES NOT require a team on both sides. It will just drop with whatever falls into place. This is a huge issue that needs fixing. If Team A has a group, then Team B should have one too, even if they aren't perfectly sized. 2 vs 4 would be better than team vs no team.

Solo only won't happen because PGI would be unable to stop sync-droppers from all solo dropping into a match and then working together as a team. You will NEVER get away from organized teams in this game since players will always find a way to work with others.
Matchmaker is supposed to match a premade on 1 side against a pre-made group on the other side. I'm not sure what happens when 2 groups end up on the same side if it's possible there might only be a single group + 4 pugs on the other side.
Keep in mind not every group will let you know they are a group. If they are on TS they might not even reply to some random player asking in team chat if there is a pre-made group on the team.

No, it's not. We have been crying for this functionality forever ( and were told Elo would fix it... yeah right... ), but this is not in game.
