Since you're still looking for the business guy I think you might appreciate some free advice, especially since I'm such a brilliant person. Since I'm also in a generous mood, here goes:

In WoT, the champion of F2P monetizing, there is on main incentive for buying gold (MC equivalent) for the first time: demounting equipment. Equipment usually improves the performance of a tank slightly, but more importantly it's super-expensive, costing more than most tanks.

The catch is that many equipment types can be removed intact only by paying an insignificant amount of gold (30), allowing them to be moved from one tank to the next. Without the small payment the expensive equipment is lost when removed, so by paying a little real money you save enormous amount of in-game currency and grinding.

In MWO the equivalent is the chassis modifications system, so in theory you could pay 30MC to change to endo steel and back instead of millions of CB. Of course you can't buy 30MC, so next they player will be looking at buying premium, paints etc.

You're welcome.

Cut MC prices in half and people will buy MC to spend on things, that is the best fix!

It's quite obvious that ALL equipment should be purchasable with MC.

As to why this is pointless, though. CBills are easily farmed if one plays often. If one doesn't play often and still wants the income, he'll pay for premium or a hero mech.
The ones that are casual and haven't spent a dime on the game will continue being casual in that way regardless of what the game offers.

I know people who've ground up tens of millions extra CBills just because they're using founder mechs and premium time.
