So guess which mech has had the highest score in the tourney every time I've checked.... Catapult.... even with the 'quirks' and the SRM/LRM tuning. Interesting.

It's okay, right now it looks like one guy will run the table on the Jagermech boards.
Oh, and he's currently 3rd overall, so he might be able to press into first on that one, too.

It's not a conspiracy, or signs of OP. The cat is one of the four oldest mechs, almost everyone owns one, there are four variants with very attractive and different hardpoints, and they've got good head swivel. I'd have to see real math to determine if their head swivel is "WAY BETTER" than other mechs "head + arm extension" swivel. I suspect the quirks tweaked them down into the range other mechs can replicate with arms.
The Cat still has a monstrously-easy cockpit box, the side torsos are often easy to hit (unless you really are a spinning genius, and most people don't seem to be), and all of them come with a conveniently placed pair of "shoot me here" ears. Only a ballistic K2 has ablative ears. Every other mech and build is grossly injured by blowing off one box.
