Hello
A quick question before I spend all my money in a test. If I upgrade my mech to Double Heat Sink (DHS) it cost me 1,5m no problem.

BUT if I want to revert to standard Heat Sink (HS), do I have to pay again ?

And after that if I want to reconfigure DHS, do I have to pay again 1,5m ??

Thanks for the help pilots !!

Yes, you have to pay for each conversion on every type of upgrade.

Converting to the upgraded part(s) is more expensive than converting back to the standard part(s). Converting to Doubles is 1.5 million C-Bills. Converting back to Singles is 750,000 C-Bills.

I suggest planing your builds in either http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/mechlab or http://mechromancer.wordoflowtax.com/# to avoid plugging in unnecessary upgrades.

Honestly 99.9% of the time double heat sinks are just better. It's pretty much a mandatory purchase. If I buy a new mech, I won't use it until I have double heat sinks on it.
