They aren't bad although a bit tacky - aren't all banner ads though? =)

Having said that the way it targets audiences is a tad silly. If you have visited the MWO or Tactics website it keeps coming up constantly. Given you are already going to the sites there is a strong chance you are already a player ...

I havent seen MWO banner ads since the game went OB. I se MWT ads all the time now

Why people still mod IL-2 and IL-2 Cliffs Of Dover is that there are no better alternatives for them. War Thunder is good in it's own way but not a hardcore simulator. Just baffles me that devs took 7 years to code a pile of bugs called Cliffs Of Dover, said some things could not be changed yadda yadda and what happened? Community already added and fixed stuff and more to come. Is everything too money centered these days?

If devs of MWO would accept fan made maps and other things passing their standards(requires them to set them and document stuff) MWO would thrive for sure. Fans do not work with bean counters waiting to turn your arse to dog chew if budget is slipping etc. They do it for the game. Rewarding them? Maybe MC, name in credits and other stuff? Dunno, but the resourceful fan base is still being largely untapped..

??? Paul wasn't even there. Bryan and Russ were the ones at the panel.

I had a great time at the panel, though I felt a bit bad for Chris Roberts, since his game didn't quite fit into the F2P model discussion portions. I happened to chat with a fellow who worked on the sound design for MW:LL , and had some nice conversations while waiting to get in, as well.

Sadly, I got up a bit late to ask a question, and was the second in line when they closed the panel down
