Even with its warts and growing pains, I just love it. Most fun game to come along in a long time. And dammit, I was trying to not give them any more money because of the whole third person thing but I just caved and bought some more MC for mech slots and premium time. Guess I'll just have to hope that third person works out ok and PGI will hold the line when it comes to providing some immersive options for simulation-like gameplay.

Ah well, here's to you PGI, thanks for making what is so far a very fun game to play!

I am so with you!
I always try to stay away from rage posts. This tedious, boring, grindy game is so much fun. I mean it! I have not had so much fun in a game for years. I am confident the game will be really awesome once it is released.

I love this game (played MW at the CPU lab in college on 5.25 floppy). played MW 2 as well. Glad this is back in my life and have no problem spending money and supporting this product!!!!

I can't wait to see what is next. The weekend events are really cool. I like the new idea where only your ten best games count. I thought I was getting bored with catapults, and then they do a heavy weekend. Now I am trying to get the most out of mechs I haven't played in a month. There is new life all over again. I am going to be annoyed when they do a assault weekend. I don't have a chassis picked for that yet.

Yeah, I played MPBT a little bit back in the day (like 20 years ago I think)... I remember really liking it but I believe it was quite expensive (was it hourly charged?) so didn't get much time in. Mechwarrior 2, now that I loved and played the absolute crap out of. I get a similar feeling out of this game, which should only increase, hopefully, as it gets polished.

Game is great so far, even i had to retiere my LRM Boats for the Moment, i have much fun with gaming.

Nothing beats walking around in stompy Robots and make a bit Pew Pew.

Well, I got couple games I play quite regulary...MWO got spot in "fps when i want to melt faces" category (pwning all those cod's bf's etc.)
Also, (when i get "texture bug") it reminds me mechwarrior 2 mercenaries <3 ...

Glad to see something positive. Of all my mates, I play ForumWarrior the most, and get involved in all of the community's gripes and QQs. After getting all worked up and angry, I close my browser and play the game with my friends, and suddenly we're all laughing, strategizing, and playing a great game together in our little merc unit, with no CW or supporting structure, we're having loads of fun. Yes, we all hate Raven 3Ls and ECM, but the game is great and brings us together more than Dota, SC2, or any other big brand games do at the moment. Loving it!

Most of all, we're playing Mechwarrior. Thanks PGI for making that possible.
