Since I have not run the Orion yet I have no clue how their STs hold up but personally I would say go for it. What I would change though is get rid of the Gauss Rifle; once your armor is gone on the Right Torso you have 5hp and that GR will kill you. Plus with the new Gauss mechanic you will get higher damage and DPS with an AC10. You already have an ERLL to probe distance with and by going to the AC10 you get tons to go to a bigger engine and get some more speed to play with. Here are my two suggestions:
