Seems like some joystick button bindings just don't work anymore. :/
Are joystick bindings for things like ECM or the new arm-lock toggle being screwy for anyone else?

Anyone Else Having Trouble With Joystick Bindings?

I had mapped "Q"(target overlay) to a joystick latching key, so I could keep my teammates ID'd during gameplay. It quit working as soon as I got the new patch with joystick upgrades. I was cool about it, and tried to rebind the key, but got an error stating that it was already mapped. SO, I remapped to another key, then remapped it back to my lathcing switch, and it still won't work. I use another latching switch for TAG, and it still works just fine.

Yep, I have been trying to bind, adv-zoom, free look, free arm and team info displays to my M$ Sidewinder Pro II's coolie hat/trim button and they are not working. It still allows binding of night vision (right coolie hat/trim) and thermal vision (down coolie hat/trim). Also its still "all stop" when I use battle map or text chat during game.
While its getting better, they still have a bunch bugs to kill for proper joy stick use.

I wrote a note to support mentioning the following controls quit working properly (responding to the keys assigned) after the 3/19/13.
Throttle Up
Throttle Down
Turn Left
Turn Right
Center Legs
Toggle Arm Lock
Show Target Overlay
Toggle Zoom (Module Required)
Scoreboard
Some of these controls continue to work when re-assigned to alternate keys on my CH Pro Throttle Control.
All of the buttons, hat switches, and thumb controls engaged these controls before the 3/19/13 patch.

I've also submitted a support ticket on this issue. Reply came back that said they are aware of the problem and are working on it for a future patch fix. Joystick support is in it's infancy so expect things to get better in the near future.

Yes, I too have had problems with my throttle since the Joystick patch.. I use an X-45. At the start of a match the throttle will only go between the +20% to -20% range. I will then hit x to fully stop the mek. I then have a throttle range of +20% to 100% and -20% to -100%. Also functions that I have bound to my throttle no longer work. Such functions are: show target Overlay, toggle ecm mode, show battlegrid, scoreboard, fire wep group 3, 4 and 5, Also when not in match the game acknowledges my throttle when in option mode. When using options menu in a match the game will not acknowledge the throttle. Good thing it's a SAITEK X-45 where I have plenty of other options where the game will acknowledge other sliders on the throttle.

Try using your joystick profiler to bind the default keyboard keys to the stick, apart from the axis of the stick which should bind in game. Hopefully they fix this soon.

Improvements have been made but after the last patch having a thrust master flight Hotas. Everything was great the joystick side has no problems but the buttons on the left with the throttle do not work even though the throttle does? I am sure in the next improvement they will fix it.
