In lore:

Timber Wolf - It's the iconic 'mech of BattleTech, and embodies the perfect balance of speed, armor, and firepower. And looks awesome.

Summoner - Big stompy robit.

Bushwacker - Finally, the Inner Sphere figured out how to make a cool-looking 'mech.

MWO:

Hunchback - the game has made me a fan. I've tried all but a few of the available 'mechs now, and nothing even comes close to the Hunchie's sheer grit. It's enough to make a Clan MechWarrior proud.

MadDog looks cool, TimberWolf is the first mech I ever saw and also looks cool, certain versions of the Zeus artwork are awesome,I used to like the catapult (until they hotfixed its primary weapon system :))

Definitely the King Crab, partial to the 001 variant though if we ever get named weapons in the game, I will use the Deathgiver AC/20s.

KGC-001 – One of the so-called "Clanbuster" variants developed in the lead-up to the Battle of Tukayyid, ComStar's techs replaced the twin autocannons with two M-7 Gauss Rifles, trading a minor reduction in destructive capacity for greatly increased range. Also, the Large Laser was upgraded to a Tronel XIII Large Pulse Laser and two Hovertec Streak SRM-2s with a single ton of reloads were added. These changes were accomplished by using an extralight engine in place of the standard model.

Real men roll in Warhammers.

And our women ride Marauders.

Clan tech is for wimps who need training wheels and ezmode. =P

In Battletech my favourite was...

Clan: Ryoken/Stormcrow First. (Although I love Summoner, Hellbringer, Maddog, Timber Wolf, Kitfox, Dire Wolf, Executioner....etc..)

IS: Highlander first. Then Awesome, Jagermech, Victor, Wolfhound... (It's hard picking just one)

My favourite game mech so far is still from MW4: Mercs, my old Victor. Not even Daishi could take it on 1v1.

MadCat because there is not a single cooler looking Mech in the universe.

My favourite in MWO is the Trebuchet so far.

Too many good mechs to really choose... I do enjoy the Daishi because it's a powerhouse, and the unseen go without mentioning of course. The King Crab's probably near the top, and anyone saying Mad Cat (*cough* Timber Wolf *cough*), I'll gladly kick your face in with a Mk II (so much better). Here in MWO it's a tossup between the Atlas (a classic) and the 4SP.

Not my favourite, but I really enjoy the Hunchback IIC. Why? Simple, 2 UAC/20s. On a MEDIUM!

Clan: the Nova Cat

Because it's badass.

Inner Sphere: THE BERSERKER. Because it breathes fire, can run at 86kph with MASC (imagine it with speed tweak!), has a hatchet, and a TANK FOR A CODPIECE.

Posted Image

If it were to end up in game though, Tabnir's design looks utterly badass;
