Call it more of an uneasy feeling, but the lack of any kind of meaningful updates from our devs is troubling me.

After taking a brief stroll through warthunders wiki and you tube offerings my confidence is a bit shaken in so far as what the h E l l is going on with the development of this game.

Announcements have slowed to a trickle and tbh the flavor of "recent " ones have been alarming to the majority of at least the "forum" community< see , i did that for our special members who love to point out that somehow forum members dont represent mwo>

I watched the pax east video and found myself impressed with .... chris roberts.. I dont intend to sound mean but the body language of our devs... well. scared me abit.

The numbers , specifically cash numbers for mech and map development seemed quite insane...
A look on star citizens site and they have the complete breakdown of a carrier..and how it was developed.. You cant tell me that they spent more on that one ship than we supposedly spend on one mech..
Warthunder... how many planes.. how many maps? how many different controls? how many different modes.?

WHy are you still .....................................

"HIRING"?

what are you doing?

I dont get it.. if we want team death match.. why not?
It seems as if devs arent getting the point that people are started to twiddle their thumbs over the glacial pace of development.. And worse are trying new games.. and guess what? playing them..
I love battletech and robot combat, but worried I am ..

They give update posts at the beginning of every month. Here is the March one. Since it isn't April yet, the next one isn't over due.

They give us updates all the time, like how they are adding goldflush, gold artillery, and 3rd person.

Dude, it's been like barely a week since a major content release. Relax. Go get some fresh air.

Don't judge the game or the developer by the General Discussion forum. GD is increasingly becoming a pile of crap filled with stupid complaints about every aspect of the game that could possibly be complained about and then some. Nerf this. OP that. Do this. Hey my idea is so important that I'll ignore the half-dozen other threads right on the first page of the forum already talking about it and post what should be a reply in one of those threads as an entirely new thread instead. It's really getting out of hand and I sincerely hope PGI have stopped reading GD entirely.

No, not really. The developers have been silent on most of the games major upcoming systems. Totally silent. No hints, no teasers, just an idiotic, ill advised, total silence. No info on clans, no info on CW, no info on the lobby system. You could go back four months and this community wouldn't know any less about any of these systems than we do now.

If they're working on them at all they sure as hell don't want people knowing or talking about them. If they're planning on some sort of big reveal the pax-gdc week would be the perfect time to do it. But I haven't heard anything yet. When they cut off concept art, stop talking to their community about upcoming content that is more than two weeks out, and start springing unwanted systems like third person and consumables it makes them look like they actually have nothing coming.

Your major content release missed half of the content it was supposed to have and they didn't even tell us that in the patch notes. It also wasn't even close to a major content release.

They were first at PAX and are now over at GDC. Tight schedule for top management means less updates.
That's why they palnned it on a quiet week, since we are on a quiet week->patch week schedule.

As far as body language of those two go, it is a clear case of stage fright. On the other hand, Chris has thousands of interviews under his belt and knows how to chill out the right way.

As far a sbreaking down of development process goes, we have that too: http://www.penny-arc...ricate-birth-of

And lastly, the War Thunder is in development since 2009. It is pretty obvious it will have more content.

This weeks no lighter than the last few. That's not a meaningful line of reasoning, especially considering they prepare these patches a month in advance.

The reason I do software development personally is so that I don't have to talk to clients AT ALL. It's the PR guys you wanna burn down, not the devs.

They already said what's happening on the 4th week of March, game-wise... nothing.

Here it is, black on white (grey on black, actually): http://mwomercs.com/...irector-update/

This is why I never make new threads. If I think it is thread worthy odds are good that at least 10 people have made threads about it, half of them with nothing but qq that does not help the matter. If there not a thread about it there is an official thread that I can ask my question or place my opinion/suggestion.

oh there's something nearby? hm would be nice to go. I bet cryptic is there too. I'd love to totally troll them in person.

But PGI, PGI I would just flog, no trolling.

Edit: awww nuts it's more for developers and kinda pricey! Sad Panda (needs proper emote)

They have a booth in the career pavilion. GDC is really oriented more toward developers than end gamers.

There are no real updates other than cammo until summer. April will be boring as far as new stuff, might get the flea and even more new cammo stuff in may.

They should really market this game on the cammo. There is more than enough of it and more to come.
Cammo Warrior Online Beta: "because looking good is about all we can accomplish for you on a regular basis at this time."
or
Cammo warrior Online beta: "we get paid to make you cammo and not game content."

Except for you know, jagermech, Desert, coolant, Highlander hero on the frelling front page(which brings both the awesome look and the Highlander itself)

Entirely silent. Not a peep.

Don't be stupid.

Not the Flea, we are getting the Highlander in April. We are getting the Highlander Hero mech on the 2nd.
