I'm pretty sure Jesus wasn't a god.

Not, a god. The God.

Quote

The Christian doctrine of the Trinity defines God as three divine persons or hypostases:[1] the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit. The three persons are distinct, yet are one "substance, essence or nature".[2] A nature is what one is, while a person is who one is.[3][4][5]

Wait, how did we get here arguing Christian doctrines?

To be fair it's like Voltron: Separately they are still divine, but together they are totally not a multi-god pantheon but the singular core to a monotheistic religion, really.

Battletech is the only true mecha setting*. Don't bring your blasphemous cartoons into this, heretic!

:D

*) Man, the similarites to Christianity are enormous- Christianity also stole important icons and symbols from other religions and adapted them for their purposes... Solicistice turned itno Christmas, and even stealing the god from another religion! Someone should write a paper about this!

Many have, in fact the psuedo poly-thesim represented by both the trinity and the cult of saints in Catholic tradition the co-option of pagan holidays, several iconic traditions such as Christmas trees. All have their roots in making the church more palatable to divergent cultures as it spread it's influence.

I know that - but did anyone see the clear parallels to Battletech and wrote about that!

Doubt it, someone may shout religious preference(last one at christmas) then whine and cry and get all PC about it. Thus ruining us ever having another MC sale again.

Christmas and Easter are not technically religious holidays in the sense many mistakenly think they are (i.e., Christian holidays), unless you're including ancient pagan mythology in what you consider to be religion, and in which case those who like to live their lives finding things to be offended by should not be offended by that.

Anyway, to the topic: a 30% MC sale would see me picking up quite a bit of MC. 20%, maybe a little. less than 20%, probably not interested. Not having a sale will see me taking a break from buying MC for quite a while, after having picked up quite a bit over the last couple months (and subsequently spent most of it).
