Glad to hear that such deal on MC purchase exist! I discovered how to enable stereoscopic 3D a few weeks ago and since then I'm hooked to this game, each evening I have this feeling of urge to play. 1st merc was a HBK and I finally decided to go for the Elite stuff so I endend up buying 2 others but now and had no more C-Bills. I find it slow to get C-Bills.

Anyway, all I wanted to say is that I was waiting for such a sale to possibly buy some MC and it looks like it will happen one day. Unless I lost interest until then, I will gladly buy a few MC, at least I will be able to own more than 4 mechs in the future.

If only we could hear from them about 3D, there is an interesting topic with a lot of discussions about the future but absolutly nothing about 3D. But hey, until then 3D works!

I support pointless religious debate on interwebz forums. I also support an MC sale for this weekend, be it for some holiday or just for the weekend. Or for my birthday. I will buy on sale MC in anticipation of a Highlander hero... Please, PGI?

I have not given PGI any money at all yet, but mainly because I think their prices are way out of line on stuff.

I did the math on a newly released Hero Mech awhile ago, and it worked out to be like $23. The worst part was that it was terribly equipped. I was going to have to drop 4-6 million CB's to bring it up to snuff. Absolutely ridiculous.

I am going to have to at least buy some Mech Bays ... so the next sale on MC, I will drop a little cash.

What else would I be willing to drop money on?

1) A "Hero Bobble Head". A bobble head that could be moved from Mech to Mech that would turn it into a Hero Mech (XP/CB boost). I would drop $25-50 on that in a heart beat. Cause it allows me to pilot the mech I want, or my group needs, and not be forced to pilot terrible hero chassis.

2) Account Bound Paints. I would drop cash on a "universal" paint job that was account bound. I pay once, it could then be applied to any / every chassis I own. Having to pay for paint for each chassis is really nickle & dime. If I buy a silly hate in TF2, any of my chars can wear it ... make paints work like silly hats :-)

3) XP to GXP module. A Module that you buy that once installed in a mech converts all new XP to GXP. Basically, even this weekend sale on GXP conversion was still *way* to high for the average "value buyer" like me. Paying a one time fee though to convert a mech into a GXP machine? I would do that.

As a value buyer, I don't see value in micro-transactions the way PGI has set it up. Prices are too high, for too little *value*. I want more "account unlocks" instead of "variant weight class" unlocks. Micro-Transactions should be "micro" ... not $23 chunks for a chassis. Not $45 to exchange all your XP over to GXP ... that's not micro at all.

I understand why PGI setup the system the way they did. I understand that my suggestions break that logic. I also understand that getting 2 million people to pony up $10-$15 is vastly more money then getting 200,000 people to pony up $50-$75.

Give me value, and I will give you cash.

Disclaimer: I am a home owner, subbed to Wow for 8 years, carried other subs during that time. I have bought many games over steam. Heck, I could write a check for a new Car/SUV tomorrow if I wanted one. Money is not the issue ... Value is.

best ide ever. I get paid on the 1st of March and I refused to pay 99 for more mc unless a sale comes out. Cause lets be honest, where do they comeup with the prices numbers on the mech for a product that has no competition. 30 dollars for a pretty baby. Yeah right, thats a tank of gas and a drive to the strip club, now thats30 dollars well spent. Or i could use it to pay my cable bill lol

I'd prefer a sale on mechbay slots. The last one they had you were limited to buying just one, but now you could buy 20 if you wanted.

Hmm, an eggstomping MC sale for Wabbit Season, combined with the fact that it`s the beginning of a new month (means paychecks for most people not on a US style 2 week rhythm).... I could be incliined to spend money in this fachoin, though I was kind of waiting /hoping for the clan founders package to become actual reality before spending money....
