...will do things like fire JJ's, weapons, open maps and the like once the match starts.

In other words, if you are in chat before Betty finishes her spiel and still typing after, your keystrokes will type in chat AND fire off commands.

I see a lot of friendly fire incidents as people are typing and hit the ol' alpha strike key...

Known issue (if I recall correctly) just be cautious of chat in the transition from opening screens to actual start up for now.
