Great find? They posted it on their Facebook page, lol.

Not all of us bother to waste our time with Facebook, you know. To us, it often takes someone else to find those things for us.

The ER PPC and the ER Large Laser dont make sense in this... ER tech came along when the clans came calling.... let me know if I am wrong though.... -_-

and streaks I believe are a Clan technology as well if I am not mistaken ( i.e. yea wheres the streak 2's humm)

keep in mind, that image is not a final absolute representation of all the weapons and equipment, but mainly a good chunk of it

Eh, I'm certain they're already working on putting together stuff for the eventual clan invasion. At least in so far as conceptual artwork is concerned.

Those weapons specifically came into wider spread use right before the clan invasions (being gauss rifles, ER ppc and ER large lasers.)
It is nice to see some of the weapons that will make an appearance. I am glad the LBX will be included. That 10 is a mean shotgun.

That Gauss rifle makes me feel inadequate as a man. I have the sudden urge to compensate with a large truck.

This is half correct, since these weapons are all LosTech. They were all rediscovered, however: the ER Large Laser and ER PPC in 3037, by the Draconis Combine, and the Streak SRM 2 in 3035, by the Free Worlds League.

I'll add that nothing else in the game that has been announced so far---not double heat sinks, CASE, ECM, Endo-Steel---nothing, is out of line with the technology available in 3049. The developers have done their research, know their lore, and have applied it so far.

Cheers.

I feel compelled to make love to the UAC-5 design. Dirty, long love.

Three holes to choose from, too! Just, clean her up beforehand; carbon buildup is tough stuff, and I hear Hoppes #9 gun cleaner isn't too friendly on...well...sensitive skin.

Very cool renderings! But, like others, where is the Streak Srm-2?

ACs look all too similar for me. Well, if we guess the damage is based on the shell volume, then AC/20 should only have 2,15 times greater caliber to inflict 10 times more damage than AC/2, so perhaps they are OK. This is not so in the Lore, though. But UAC have twice the rate of the same caliber AC with the same damage per round. Why so small caliber of UAC/5? Why Gatling when there are Rotary ACs?

I also believe the PPC should have no clean, round barrel - as the Gauss on the same picture doesn't. Magnetic coils and everything else, you know.

AC/5's fire rounds between 40mm to 60mm in caliber. The UAC/5 barrels look a little spindly, as if they would melt under the heat caused by firing the thing. Maybe that is why they jam all the time?
