I played the first two, plus the Multiplayer Battletech: EGA game on GEnie/Kesmai or whatever. Also played the Crescent Hawk games and TT.

First one I played was the SNES one with no canon mechs.

I'm still playing the 1989 game through DOSBOX...people complain about heat management and jump jets in this game...hah.

Talk about lights taking down assaults, my fav mech is the Locust, and I love taking down Battlemasters with it..lol.

Man, MW 3 looks great in that vid. That was a fun game. MW:LL looks more colorful and fun than MWO...

Mech2 was the best. Largely because of the soundtrack. And all systems nominal.

That vid was nostolgia city. Each game looked great for their time and were a blast to play. Makes me wish I still had my MW4 set of disks.

Man, those footsteps in what I'm guessing were in Closed Beta sounded much meatier than what we have now. I don't quite remember when, but footsteps and some engine sounds became a little "lighter" in a relatively recent patch. Also, holy hell this brings back memories. I remember kitting out a lance of Shadow Hawks in MW1 and just running around destroying everything. The best.

Never played MW3, though. I skipped from 2 to 4, and avoided MW:LL like the plague due to drama.

You played the Japanese version?

I don't remember. It had the music. I also had lagoon, and a bunch of other games like it, so it was a japanese or UK import. It's not like I could understand either language that far back.

Do not fret, I am sure in time, building will kill you here. It's not on their list of things to do, but I cannot blame them. Lets get CW out and other big things before I worry about someone dropping a building on me (as funny as that would be).
