What the title says - dunno about you but Mechwarrior and Heavy Gear were pretty much my PC childhood.

OMG-- looks like the "Mech-sim + Insta-Action" crowd (Me!) is finally gonna have somewhere to go... cos Heavy Gear (Not Gundam) is the reason why I keep choosing humanoid mechs!
Okay, so it's MWO until Heavy Gear, and Heavy Gear until Star Citizen-- groovy, I'm all set through 2014!

Just in time for the new Tau Codex.
Nice trailer. I wish guys over at MekTek luck with their little Kickstarter.

I used to remember this game as well. Both Heavy Gear I and II.
But it looks like this game will take a while to be done though.
I am not optimistic that PGI will get MWO properly done with Clan and Community Warfare by fall.
That means back to Armored Core. I was playing Armored Core V before this (and my last mech game before ACV was AC4Answer and AC4. And previous to that was Chromehounds. ACV was the first Armored Core to use a modified community-faction system that was similar to Chromehounds (both are from the same developers).
But this fall, I am waiting for Armored Core Verdict Day. Its an expansion of Armored Core V but with 56 --- yes 56 --- new maps, with a 3 faction community warfare, with 10 players allowed for each team (20 players in a game). The Community/Faction warfare might be similar to what Chromehounds featured.

Yeah, the new ACV:VD looks great, looking forward to some actual faction warfare.

I'm pretty stoked about all of it honestly. HG fan, been following for a while now...even thrown a decent chunk of change into the kickstarter for it.
