I'm freshly back after an unintendedly long break, and I have to say the game looks fantastic and so much progress has been made! I have been happy to find my old enthusiasm for the game is now back and burning strong. I know many gamers work like me - we go in cycles. I do it with Team Fortress 2 as well - Ill live on it, playing virtually nothing else until I hit my capacity.. then I break and dont touch it at all for a while. In this case it was compounded by frustrations with lag. That issue has been very well addressed, and many other improvements have made the game much more welcoming. I will be here quite a bit for a good while I believe - possibly then taking a break for a month or two to see how TF2 has been, of course.. but this has the staying power.

Give PGI a break, they have done a great job in a small time frame
Define 'small time frame'.. Because this game has had quite a long time to develop and frankly, I feel like much of the time is being squandered on hero mechs and marketing schemes.

Lack of content? So 2 patches a month are not enough?
Lack of information, try other sources like No Guts No Galaxy pod cast, they have the odd dev on there who gives hints at what to expect.
Give PGI a break, they have done a great job in a small time frame, but if your bored already just leave for a few months then come back.

Yes lack of content.
Please explain your side by outlining the robust content offered by MWO, as you see it, and how it compares to similar titles. I love MWO but I am not so absent as to think that what we have is content rich.

Then stop posting in them FFS. If they bother you so much then just pass them by or do you feel the need to spread your keyboard slobber all over everything you dont like?
I tried War Thunder and was unimpressed. Its not even a sim and you can fly your plane in 3PV so yeah, nah going to stay away from that game. When I get bored I just stop playing till I get a fever to play again. Lately I play maybe 3 matches a night before stopping in frustration. Its nobodys fault but my own because I cant find anything that grabs me and keeps me.

Correct. Seriously, War Thunder is extremely addictive and fun. I actually checked out Star Conflict first then War Thunder. And after playing the 2 of those games, I am even more perplexed and beffuddled at PGI's floundering.
War Thunder. Thats how you make a successful f2p game, PGI. I highly advise any and all who havent tried it to give it a whirl. And if WWII dogfighting isn't your thing, give their other outing a try, Star Conflict - a space fighter game. Both are stellar games.

Game has been stale since December to me. I have been trying to stick it out till CW and the clans show up(if ever). I'm on a 90 day money grind. If the game remains lackluster at the end, I'll be taking a really long break.
