Is it possible to join a group without teamspeak? I don't have a headset and can't use the mic on my laptop, but I would like to play with a group if possible.

Yes ShinobiHunter, it is possible and my unit does have a couple of people who cant use teamspeak for a couple of reasons. Although even if you cant talk being able to hear your teammates is quiet helpful sometimes but it isn't mandatory.

A great place to start would be the Arkab Legions teamspeak tonight - we are hosting our Fun Drops night tonight and every Saturday and typically get representatives of many House Kurita units such as the 9th Sword of the Dragon, the Night's Scorn, the Ronin Legion, the 3rd Taketa Lancers, and of course the Arkab Legions. Recent visitors have also included the Shin Legion.

You can't really go wrong with any of them, so feel free to check us all out!

No worries! I remember what it was like to be new to the whole voice comms thing!

Basically, when on the TS, just jump into a room, and type something into the text line. Hopefully one of the other pilots will read it and realize you have no mic (especially if you go "Hi, I'm new and don't have a mic. How do I join a drop group?"), and it should all proceed smoothly from there!

Hey all, with the advent of stage 1 of community warfare I expect to see quite a few updates to make here in the days to come, I'm going to do my best to stay on top of them. I expect at the very least I'll be needing to add the abbreviated Tag to all the unit entries, and possibly update some unit names as they officially establish what they are called in game.

Also this doesn't have to only be a list of Units. If there are other resources Kurita players (especially new ones) would find useful in getting involved in the community I highly encourage you to give me the info and I'll include links in the OP here. Links/info on regular hosted events, public voice comms, etc. There are lots of great stuff bringing the community together and I can't really keep on top of all of it on my own, but I'll gladly spread any info I hear about or people give me.
