Centurion in "Like new" condition, small reactor leak, totally fixable, never raced.
Raven 3L with double ECM, but only works on Tuesdays from 1PM-2PM.
Catapult A1 with no Missile hardpoints.

Yes, I understand that this is a Beta product and things need to be worked out however in this case the sales engine should not allow the purchase of the same variant if it would not have full functionality as any other mech. There should be a splash screen that warns the buyer (especially if using MC) that the Mech in question would only show up once one on the pilot lab Mech tree menu. I love the idea of MWO and that’s why I am willing to spend money (in excess of $100.00 ) to supporting the cause however please do not get to stiff on the rules concerning refunds when it’s so easy to charge my credit card. I was a leader of a Clan in the original Mech Warrior back many years ago so again I reiterate … great idea!! Just don’t ***** my experience with rigid refund policies.

So is the sale working, cause I didnt see any 2x xp happen. Does it only work on the trial mechs bought, or does it not stack with premium account bonus time?

It's working, but it does not show as an extra bonus - it is just folded in to the base score and then the premium is added on top.

Just got over 3500 xp in one game

I'm sorry for the confusion buddy and I hope they give you a one time refund, but the path to unlocking things has been stated over and over ad nauseum. I really don't think the burden is on PGI at this point.

As far as buying more than one of the same mech, I saw a guy post on the forums one time about how he had 2 of the same atlas, because he wanted them different paint jobs and he didn't want to wait for the mech to ready between matches. I saw someone else talk about how they had 3 of the same jenner variant but they didn't say why. So there have been legitimate cases of someone buying same mech.

Again, hope they give you a one time refund for the confusion, but if you're unsure please ask in the forums in the future, plenty of us are willing to help.

Check to make sure it's not rolled into the base amount, easiest way is to look at your win/loss xp.

Base win/loss xp is 300/100

If you win/loss xp says 600 or 200 then it's been double, just didn't tell you.

MC is still too expensive for me to consider buying, even with a sale on regular chassis... which I can buy with c-bills anyway so that seems a bit pointless.

How about an MC/Hero Mech sale next time? If I could get the X5 for less than $15 (which seems a bit ridiculous to me, for one chassis) with a bit left over to spend on some vanity stuff, I'd do it. Until then, I'll hold onto my pennies thanks.

If only they could have dropped an LRM adjustment before double XP weekend I would have gone on a spending spree. Last time I ended up buying premium time to compound the gains (which was AMAZING) and a hero mech because I ran low on C-Bills as my XP outpaced my virtual wallet.

But I find the game really one-dimensional right now and pretty annoying... and I can't really buy a mech till I see where they go with missiles... So I guess I'll level a few trial mechs and then play something else.

Seriously, though... premium plus double XP is huge!

Just grabbed a Stalker 4N getting around 1000XP on lost games and 2000+XP on wins. This is too easy!
