I've read so many times that the AS7-RS with 4 ERPPCs is one of the few mechs where SHS are better than DHS. But I don't get how you should be able to fit >40 SHS in there w/o sacrificing armor or with a less than 300 rated engine.

Tried to find the build using the search function, but no success. Can you help me fit more heat sinks in there or share your view? (I know it's a niche build, and I know a lot of people would even call the idea silly.)

Essentially, you can fit either endo (-5 t) or an XL (-10 t at 300 rating) in there - but not both, so I went with XL300 (38 SHS):
AS7-RS, SHS, XL300

Or, using DHS (equivalent to 35.4 SHS):
AS7-RS, STD325, DHS

While it can be cooler with SHS (minimally), you can go twice as fast and be about as cool if you just max out an engine (nearly) and use doubles. To be coolest you have to lower the engine to minimum to make room for the insane amount of heatsinks.

Well its not an XL, but you don't need it, the slots are more important than the tons (as you already have nearly max STD engine and filled the slots, you don't really need more tons).
