Just curious to see the numbers.

Added more question to see if the idea of having Hero Mechs on sale for 1 week after their release would be popular.

Price of the Heavy Metal is estimated to be 6750 MC or around $35 depending on which MC package you buy.

I voted "yes" but I do not think I will buy it the day it comes out, however I do plan to buy it before I get the other highlanders. I simply have to wait for all my other monthly bills to be paid and make the deposit on the new house first. Despite my strenuous arguments my wife insists that that new house is more important than the Highlander Hero mech, so I have to wait.

BLASPHEMY, but such is married life. At least I still get my toys.

Naw...I wasn't really that thrilled about the highlander in general, and the hero one has a pink paint job, I'l pass.

I am not really into the Highlander. I am a medium / heavy mech pilot by choice. I also refuse to own a PINK mech.

Lights and Medium heros yes, Heavy possibly, Assaults just seem too high of a price.

I'm fairly certain they will allow you to change the colors of hero mechs when the Heavy Metal is released, otherwise it would be a huge blunder on their part given that the majority of the players are males.

I must be the only person that does not want the ability to change paint jobs on Hero mechs. I know it is coming, but it is not a good thing, IMO.

Good god no.

The highlander was the mech I was looking forward to the most, by a long way, but the 3d model is butt ugly & bright pink. Also have been pretty disappointed with the 2 hero mechs I've already bought, really just not worth the money...

I'd like to but I cant. I cant buy a hero variant without knowing the other variants' hardpoints.

I would buy a hero mech highlander in a heartbeat. But if it's more than 6500 MC I won't be able to justify spending more than $30 for it.

There are 2 ways to handle the paint job.

1: Meh, i don't like it.

2: Own it. Own your opponents, Own their anger, get to the point where you stomp them into the ground they hate that XXXXXXXX pink paint job so much they will walk past your teammates just for the chance to try and burn that hated mech down, and then you know what? Own them some more.

Watch them turn to the dark side side time and time again as you strike them down and when their last recourse is to blasphemy in the public chat about your girlish paint job, your reply is: "Hell yeah it's pink I want you to KNOW who put you into the ground"

That's the way to roll.

It would depend on what kind of hardpoints it has and whether the speaker system actually works - I'm definitely getting 2-3 other Highlander variants, though. ;)

I take no issue with the... Questionable paintjob.

I will buy it but odds are I will not play it till the weekend since Defiance drops the 2nd.

I am somewhat concerned about losing all the weapons once you pop the Left Torso.

Most mechs lose alot of stuff if you pop a torso, lol
